LA’s Eric Sharp has just put out an EP with his friends, appropriately named ‘Eric Sharp & Friends EP’, and it’s a sweet and soulful collection of tunes. Three of my favorites are singles titled ‘Call In The Night‘, ‘Someplace I Can Call My Own‘ and ‘Take This Time‘.
Some tracks being tastefully muddy and dissonant, with others refined and balanced, and another featuring ethereal call and response vocals from Zhao, the EP is a diverse and satisfying group of songs that are nice for getting some much needed sun on the weekend or sitting at your desk in the dark hole you call your office.
