With three decades behind the decks, Vertex Form represents the evolution of a lifelong journey through music. Known for a dark, hypnotic, industrial, and atmospheric approach to Techno, she creates immersive sonic experiences that blur boundaries between driving rhythms, broken-beat experimentation, melodic tension, as well as the transformative power of sound and frequencies. It began in 1997 while serving as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy. Vertex Form started performing at underground electronic music events during the time stationed in Spain. What commenced as a passion for dance sub-culture, evolved into an international artistic career spanning not just multiple generations of music, stages of the subculture movement into mainstream, genres and mediums.
Performing as Jenna G, and Jenna Vicious before Vertex Form moved toward establishing professionally as Jenna Gilmore, becoming an influential presence within Florida’s booming underground community, she humbly boasts career highlights such as residency with the legendary iconic Club Firestone (Orlando), alongside hosting a prominent dance music radio program via South Beach pioneering internet broadcasting platform known as The Womb TV from 2004 to 2007. That is not counting performances at Ultra Music Festival, Future Sound of Breaks, Sunset Music Festival, CODA: Movement Detroit Closing Party, as well as numerous other events throughout the US. Her extensive history regarding residency includes other notable milestones like Electro Lust in South Florida, Three Days of Light, and over a decade as a mainstay of the Asheville Full Moon Gathering. Also being a longtime member of Geishaz, Miami’s established all-female DJ artist collective, Vertex Form has spent more than two decades contributing to the visibility of creative evolution for women in electronic music.
Throughout her career, Vertex Form has received sponsorship support from internationally recognized brands Red Bull, Ortofon, in addition to Adidas! This is reflective of her longstanding presence paired with powerful professional relationships within the industry. She received media coverage from publications like Miami New Times under her former Jenna Vicious alias and Techno Mood under Vertex Form, while her performances have been featured on internationally recognized platforms such as Resident Advisor as an “RA Pick”. Her achievements extend beyond the studio and dance floor, with multiple international chart placements across electronic music platforms. Performing as Jenna Gilmore, her track Exogenesis entered Beatport’s Top 100, while her track Karmic Debt from the Ancestral Path EP also gained recognition on Beatport’s Hype charts. In 2023, her Beenoise Attack International Women’s Day mix reached #34 worldwide in the Mixcloud “Hard Techno” category, further demonstrating her ability to connect internationally through DJing and production.
Jenna spent six years working A&R for MIDI Life Records. She was responsible for discovering and signing 13 artists in her time there. This experience expanded her role within the music industry, provided valuable insight regarding talent development, record label operations, and the creative relationships that are needed to support emerging artists. A background in A&R continues to shape her approach to artist development and vision for establishing an independent record label. In 2022, she launched Vertex Form as a dedicated expression of a darker, more experimental sonic identity. Her productions have appeared on respected labels including Soma Records, OMEN Recordings, BlackVogue Records, Elektrax Music, MTZ Noir Records, Beenoise Records, and Mavic Music. The connection to Soma Records includes recognition through the 23by23 initiative in 2022 (now known as Change the Beat), where her broken-beat remix was selected as a winning entry. Her growing discography includes the EPs Rite of Passage (MTZ Noir Records), Ego Death (BlackVogue Records), and Shadow Work, in addition to releases and remixes such as Persephone’s Breath (OMEN Recordings), 3SBAT – Draconic Cycle (Vertex Form’s Altered Sates Mix) (Soma Records) and Empath – Rejoice (Vertex Form’s Altered States Mix) (Elektrax Recordings). Together, these works showcase the commitment to her ongoing exploration of hypnotic, Industrial, and emotionally charged Techno.
Under her collective of monikers, she shared event lineups with massively influential artists like Radio Slave, Green Velvet, Joey Beltram, Heather Heart, Alexander Technique, DJ Soul Slinger and Dylan Drazen. It was via her own ART OF TECHNO event series going to Detroit, Vertex Form used Corktown Tavern to host a 2026 Movement pre-party featuring Frankie Bones, Keoki, Axkan, and Lotoh Runic. Beyond work as a recording artist, remixer and DJ, she is the founding creative force behind ART OF TECHNO (US), an underground event production brand dedicated to preserving the authenticity of electronic music culture by connecting emerging as well as, established talent. By producing events across cities such as Asheville, Charlotte, and Detroit . . . ART OF TECHNO (US) continues to expand their reach through carefully curated experiences that encompass Techno, House, and bass-driven music. That platform has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to artist development, community building, and preservation of underground electronic music culture.
Her musical vision is further sculpted by a background in audio production, having studied at Full Sail University from 2019 to 2021 and work as a certified sound healer. Incorporating principles of solfeggio frequencies, resonance, and sound healing into her creative process, she explores the relationship between electronic music, altered states of consciousness, and the emotional and physical experience of sound. This distinctive approach adds another dimension to her sonic compositions, where hypnotic repetition, carefully sculpted frequencies, and atmospheric texture become tools for creating completely immersive and holistically transformative dance floor experiences. As she approaches a 30-year anniversary as a performing artist in 2027, Vertex Form is entering one of her most ambitiously creative periods to date. Her forthcoming projects include a remix of Pablo Wesler’s A Short Story, scheduled for release October 30, 2026. OMEN Recordings will feature an upcoming EP project for Soma Records, and the development of her first full-length artist album. The projects chosen reflect a consistent artistic evolution, with commitment to pushing creative boundaries in underground Techno.
Vertex Form is developing an independent record label for a 2027 launch, while expanding their events to provide support in several markets outside their own. With Miami Music Week / Winter Music Conference in March, Detroit Movement festival in May, and exploring the idea of events in New York, Art of Techno (US) will enter one of the most influential music markets. Such initiatives, accentuate the next phases of vision regarding opportunities for artists through building community connections. Having international reach means Vertex Form is included when invitations went out for Amsterdam’s Most Wanted and Berlin’s World Peace Day in 2023. Building on those resources, Vertex Form teamed up with Trinidad Traxx to develop a European tour beginning Summer 2027. This penning of new entries to her international performaces chapter is exciting! From dance floors in Spain to Miami, Orlando to Detroit, Miami to Asheville and beyond, Vertex Form’s artistic philosophy remains deeply rooted in transformation through sound. Three decades have garnered experience, performance history, a well published discography, and an unwavering dedication to underground culture. Vertex Form pledges to evolve as an artist and creative force in Techno spheres. Conjuring portals on the dance floor allows her to invite listeners along on the enigmatic journeys of rhythm, frequency, momentum, and shadow.
