Australian producer Odd Mob joins forces with London duo Goodboys and Los Angeles producer SCRIPT for Odd Boys, a two-track EP arriving via Insomniac Records. Featuring the tech house cuts “Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind” with SCRIPT and “Undeniable” with Goodboys, the release brings together three artists with distinct approaches to dance music for a pair of club-focused productions.
The lead track, “Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind,” centers on the warm vocals of Goodboys, exploring the tension of keeping a romantic connection alive while considering other possibilities. Produced by Odd Mob, SCRIPT, and Goodboys, the track moves between cinematic synth leads and darker, driving grooves, gradually building tension while maintaining its dancefloor momentum.
“Undeniable” takes a more direct approach, pairing Goodboys with Odd Mob for a high-energy production built around pounding four-on-the-floor rhythms and a driving bassline. A repeating harmonized vocal anchors the track, giving its club-ready arrangement a memorable melodic hook.
The EP continues a collaborative relationship between Odd Mob and Goodboys, who previously joined Tiësto on “Won’t Be Possible” last year. The single has accumulated more than 50.12 million streams, reached No. 1 on US Dance Radio, and earned a nomination for Dance Song of the Year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
For Odd Mob, Odd Boys adds another release to an already busy year with Insomniac Records. The Australian producer previously released “Can’t Say Nah,” featuring Walker & Royce and Benni Ola, and “Take You There” through HYPERBEAM, his project with OMNOM. Both releases received support from artists including Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, ALOK, ACRAZE, Oliver Heldens, Rebuke, Fedde Le Grand, CID, Timmy Trumpet, and R3HAB.
The ARIA Gold-certified producer has continued expanding his international presence, recently completing his headline Australia 2.0 Tour and making his main-stage debut at Tomorrowland. His touring schedule has also included a second annual residency at Wynn Las Vegas, alongside appearances at EDC Las Vegas, HARD Summer, Osheaga, Outside Lands, Experts Only, ARC, CRSSD, Space Miami, and Beyond Wonderland. He also recently played a sold-out show at Gallagher Square in San Diego.
Meanwhile, SCRIPT continues to build his profile through a sound that combines indie-punk influences, emotional songwriting, and raw club energy. He debuted on Insomniac Records last year with “Substance,” which has earned 4.07 million streams, and has collaborated with Anyma, Cassian, Innellea, and KREAM. His productions have also received support from John Summit, Dom Dolla, and ARTBAT. His performance history includes appearances at Sphere in Las Vegas, UNVRS in Ibiza, EDC Las Vegas, and EDC Orlando.
For Goodboys, the EP follows a run of international performances and continued success across both club and festival settings. The duo previously released “This Feeling” with Vintage Culture, which became the official anthem of EDC Las Vegas 2022 and has since amassed 69 million streams. The two-time Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum-certified act recently made its Australian debut, following sold-out shows at fabric London, Savaya Bali, Ushuaïa, and UNVRS in Ibiza, as well as festival appearances at Tinderbox in Denmark and Nameless in Italy.
After closing out the festival season at Beats for Love in the Czech Republic, Goodboys are preparing to debut a new live show at Niebo in Warsaw this November before heading out on an Asia tour to close the year.
Reflecting on how the collaboration came together, Goodboys described the process as a natural extension of their friendship with Odd Mob, with ideas developing through studio sessions and exchanges following “Won’t Be Possible.”
“We’re good friends with Odd Mob, so making this EP together felt really natural. We had been working on a bunch of ideas together after ‘Won’t Be Possible’ and sending ideas back and forth until we landed on ‘Undeniable’. For ‘Out Of Sigh Out Of Mind’ with SCRIPT, we were all in London for shows at the same time and got together at a mate’s house very last minute to make some music. The session was the good kind of chaos and we managed to get the idea together pretty quickly before soundcheck. Releasing it just after our Australian tour makes the timing feel extra special, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
With Odd Boys, Odd Mob, Goodboys, and SCRIPT bring their collaborative chemistry to two distinct tech house productions built for club settings. Released through Insomniac Records, the EP connects the artists’ shared history with their continued momentum across the international dance music scene.
