Sheryl Crow is returning to the Sunset Strip for a special homecoming performance at Live On Sunset, a free, one-day concert presented by the City of West Hollywood on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The nine-time GRAMMY Award winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee will headline the event, bringing her back to the stretch of Sunset Boulevard where she performed some of her earliest shows.

Taking place between Doheny Drive and San Vicente Boulevard, Live On Sunset will feature a lineup spanning generations and styles, with performances from Local Natives, Empress Of, Grace Bowers, Doug Locke, and Mia Moretti. The free concert celebrates the musical history of the Sunset Strip while highlighting artists helping shape its future.

For Crow, the performance carries added significance. Her upcoming 12th studio album, Pick You Up, arrives October 9, making Live On Sunset her first major show following the release. The singer-songwriter has a longstanding connection to West Hollywood, where intimate venues helped shape her early career.

“Sheryl Crow has a deep connection to the Sunset Strip. In the early days of her career, she performed at legendary venues like the Roxy and the Viper Room,” said City of West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman. “Live On Sunset is about celebrating the musical legacies of the Sunset Strip while carrying them forward to the future. We are honored to welcome Sheryl Crow back to the neighborhood for Live On Sunset.”

Crow’s career began with work as a backup singer and duet partner for Michael Jackson during his Bad World Tour from 1987 to 1989. In 1997, she performed at the inaugural Lilith Fair, the all-female music festival that later inspired Olivia Rodrigo’s 2026 Daisy Chain Fields music festival. Since then, Crow has released 11 full-length studio albums, sold more than 50 million units worldwide, and collaborated with artists including Stevie Nicks, Chris Stapleton, and Bonnie Raitt.

“The intimate venues in West Hollywood will always hold a special place in my heart because they’re where I figured out who I was as an artist,” said Sheryl Crow. “Returning to the street where people first gave me a shot and really listened makes headlining Live On Sunset that much more meaningful. It feels right to bring these new songs to the same place where the old ones found their first audience.”

The supporting lineup brings its own connections to the neighborhood. Los Angeles-based Local Natives performed on Sunset Boulevard in 2016 and are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their third studio album, Sunlit Youth, this year. Empress Of, known for her signature electro-pop sound, has sold out the Roxy twice.

Live On Sunset Lineup

Grace Bowers had her breakout performance at The Troubadour in the Rainbow District. Her debut EP, Grace, arrives November 5, drawing on the Riot Grrrl movement and her love of ’90s punk and rock. Doug Locke built his career at Hotel Ziggy, a Sunset Strip staple, while Mia Moretti—a longtime West Hollywood resident, city ambassador, and artist with Spaghetti Moretti Records—began her music career playing vinyl at the Standard Hotel on the Sunset Strip. She now performs on the global DJ circuit, supporting her own releases, including the recent EP GET READY! and compilation Chef’s Kiss Radio Vol. 1 Ibiza.

Alongside its main stage, Live On Sunset will offer outdoor activations, food and beverage options, and fan engagement throughout the corridor. Admission is free with registration, which opens Wednesday, October 14, 2026, through the event’s official website.

For Sheryl Crow, the show is a return to the streets that helped launch her career. For West Hollywood, it’s a celebration of the Sunset Strip’s enduring place in music—and the artists who will carry that legacy forward.
