Australian producer ZUSO returns with his latest single, “U R LUVD,” a reflective lo-fi track centered on uncertainty, intimacy, and the simple reassurance that you are never truly alone.
Written toward the end of last year, “U R LUVD” reveals a quieter side of ZUSO‘s production. Rather than relying on a big, immediate moment, the track creates its atmosphere through understated production, lo-fi textures, and a personal vocal sample that gives the song an intimate quality.
The inspiration began with EMBRZ‘s “Left Ya a Voicenote,” particularly the way the track uses a voicemail recording to create a feeling of closeness and connection. ZUSO wanted to explore that same sense of intimacy while giving the idea his own identity.
That process eventually led him to a voicemail that fit the mood of the track while also communicating the positive message he wanted listeners to take away from it.

“It was heavily inspired by EMBRZ’s song “Left Ya a Voicenote..”, which is where the original idea came from. I loved the way he used a voicemail sample to create such an intimate and personal feeling, and I wanted to explore something similar in my own way. I ended up finding a voicemail that matched the mood of the song perfectly, while also conveying the positive message I wanted the track to leave with people. At its core, it’s a pretty simple message – whatever you might be going through, U R LUVD.”
That simplicity is ultimately what gives the single its emotional weight. “U R LUVD” doesn’t attempt to provide answers to uncertainty or life’s more difficult moments. Instead, it offers a small reminder to hold onto something positive even when everything else feels unclear.
