Rolling Loud is heading back to where its California story began. After a two-year absence from the state, the world’s largest hip-hop festival will return for Rolling Loud California 2027, celebrating 10 years since the festival first launched in California. The three-day event will take over NOS Events Center from December 10–12, 2027, ushering in a new chapter for the festival in Southern California.
The pre-sale begins Thursday, September 24, at 11 a.m. PT, followed by the general pre-sale at 12 p.m. PT. Fans will be able to secure three-day Rolling Loud passes through a layaway plan with just $10 down.
Those purchasing tickets can also receive an exclusive Rolling Loud California T-shirt while supplies last. Additional limited-edition add-ons will be available, including festival-approved clear bags and mystery boxes, with merchandise shipping once payment plans have been completed.
The return marks a significant moment for Rolling Loud, which first established its California presence in 2017. This time around, the festival is bringing a new venue and an additional day to the Southern California experience.
The festival’s most recent California edition took place in 2025, when A$AP Rocky made a dramatic return to the stage with a helicopter entrance as Rihanna and Blue Ivy watched from the crowd. Playboi Carti also brought his newly released MUSIC to the festival stage, with Kai Cenat joining him during the performance. The appearance generated the highest-viewed debut across streaming channels.
“California has always been a huge part of Rolling Loud’s story, and it feels good to be back,” said Matt Zingler, CEO and Co-Founder of Rolling Loud. “We’ve built an incredible community in Southern California over the years, and that’s something we never take for granted. We’re excited to bring three days of Rolling Loud to the NOS Events Center and give California something to remember.”
The California return will be part of another busy stretch for Rolling Loud, which continues expanding its international footprint. Rolling Loud Florida returns to Orlando from May 7–9, 2027, while Rolling Loud India is set for December 13–14, 2026.
Before the festival returns to California, Rolling Loud will also make its move from festival grounds to the big screen with Rolling Loud: The Movie, arriving in theaters on October 2. Directed by Jeremy Garelick, the film features a cast that includes Owen Wilson, Matt Rife, Christine Ko, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask The Slump God, Ty Dolla $ign, Henry Winkler, Christian Convery and Travis Scott.
The lineup for Rolling Loud California 2027 has yet to be announced, leaving the festival’s return as the first piece of what promises to be another major chapter in its California history. As Rolling Loud celebrates a decade in the state, the festival will once again bring together established rap stars and emerging artists while continuing its role as a global platform for the next generation of hip-hop talent.
