Chronosphere Festival has revealed the complete lineup for its inaugural edition, bringing three days of electronic music, art, nature and wellbeing to Parque de Lazer do Baião in Góis, Portugal, from September 18–20, 2026.
Set against the forests of central Portugal along the Rio Ceira, the new festival is designed around a deliberately intimate format. With a capacity of just 2,500 attendees and a single stage, Chronosphere offers a continuous musical journey without overlapping sets, allowing audiences to experience the entire program while moving freely throughout the riverside setting.
Leading the debut lineup are Detroit legends Moodymann and DJ Stingray 313, joined by an eclectic collection of artists spanning house, techno, electro, indie dance and downtempo. The three-day program also features Gerd Janson, HAAi, Young Marco, Dan Shake, Bambounou, Elkka, OK Williams, Marie Montexier, Nicolas Lutz and ISAbella.
Rather than building its identity around multiple stages and competing headliners, Chronosphere is taking a more focused approach to festival programming. The single-stage format allows the lineup to unfold as one cohesive experience, moving between generations and styles of electronic music while leaving room for unexpected discoveries.
A Festival Built Around Accessibility
One of the defining elements of Chronosphere is its commitment to creating a festival environment that is accessible to neurodivergent audiences.
Developed specifically with neurodivergent minds in consideration while remaining open to everyone, the festival will incorporate quiet and regulation areas, low-stimulation spaces, noise-reducing headphones and sensory-conscious planning. Safety Angels will also be available throughout the site to provide assistance when needed.
Guests will have the opportunity to communicate their accessibility requirements during ticket registration, allowing the festival team to prepare more personalised support ahead of arrival. Reserved areas close to the stage will provide additional space and improved access for those who require it.
The festival is also developing dedicated provisions for deaf and hard-of-hearing attendees. A designated area with clear sightlines will allow guests to experience performances through both visual elements and vibration, while Portuguese Sign Language volunteers will be available across the site.
The accessibility program has been created in collaboration with neurodivergent people and specialist organisations, including Associação Portuguesa Voz do Autista.
Connecting Music With The Landscape
The natural environment is another central part of the Chronosphere Festival concept. Located roughly an hour from Coimbra, the site stretches along the Rio Ceira, with a bridge connecting the two sides of the festival grounds.
Between performances, attendees can make use of the river’s warm, shallow waters, turning the surrounding landscape into an extension of the festival experience rather than simply a backdrop.
That relationship with the region also informs Chronosphere’s sustainability plans. The festival has committed to planting one tree in the local area for every ticket sold, while implementing reusable systems for bars and vendors, waste reduction measures and initiatives designed to minimise disposable plastics.
Working alongside local authorities and organisations, the festival will additionally support initiatives surrounding forest protection, wildfire awareness and longer-term environmental regeneration within Góis and the Serra do Açor.

Chronosphere Festival 2026 Dates And Camping
Camping is included with every weekend pass, with the campsite scheduled to open at 2 PM on Thursday, September 17.
The festival grounds will open at 9 AM on Friday, September 18, with music beginning at noon and continuing into the early hours throughout the three-day event.
With its combination of carefully curated electronic music, a one-stage format, riverside setting and unusually comprehensive accessibility program, Chronosphere Festival is positioning its first edition as a more intentional alternative to the conventional large-scale festival experience.
