PROPER NYE/NYD 2026 Unveils Phase One Lineup For San Diego’s New Year’s Celebration

FNGRS CRSSD is bringing its signature electronic music experience back to Petco Park as PROPER NYE/NYD 2026 reveals the first wave of artists set to soundtrack the final hours of 2026 and the opening day of 2027. Taking place December 31 and January 1 in San Diego, the two-day celebration will once again move across house, techno, melodic electronic music, bass, and more experimental corners of club culture.

The first phase of the lineup brings together established festival headliners, underground favorites, and rising producers, with Sara Landry and Murda Beatz leading the bill. Sara Landry brings her uncompromising brand of high-impact techno, while multi-platinum producer Murda Beatz adds another dimension to a lineup designed to move well beyond a single definition of electronic music.

The techno contingent runs particularly deep this year. French industrial-leaning standout I Hate Models joins Berlin hard techno powerhouse Klangkuenstler, while Eli Brown, DJ ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, Nico Moreno, and DJ Mandy push the festival toward its heavier and more intense side.

On the melodic end of the spectrum, Lane 8 returns to San Diego with the atmospheric, emotionally driven sound that has made him one of the defining names in modern melodic house. He’ll be joined by Massane, Qrion, Robby East, and Otherwish, while DJ PARIS, Sapian, and Tommy Phillips add further depth to the festival’s more introspective and emerging sounds.

House music remains a major pillar of the PROPER experience, with a diverse collection of artists representing everything from bass-heavy club records to classic Chicago influences. Chris Lorenzo, Green Velvet, Odd Mob, and GRAMMY-winning producer Cassian anchor the house programming alongside Ben Sterling, Beltran, SOSA, Westend, SIDEPIECE, OMNOM, and OMAR+. Max Dean b2b Luke Dean will also bring their collaborative energy to the weekend.

The lineup’s tech house and UK club influences become even more pronounced through Cloonee, KETTAMA, and Josh Baker. Each artist will perform individually during the festival before joining forces for a rare Cloonee b2b KETTAMA b2b Josh Baker set, giving attendees one of the weekend’s most anticipated back-to-back combinations.

Further expanding the festival’s sonic palette, AYYBO, Facu Baez, and Jackie Hollander bring additional house and bass-driven energy to the bill. INVT will inject Latin rhythms into its UK-influenced, bass-heavy club sound, while experimental producer umru, bass-focused artist Player Dave, Canary Yellow, MYRNE, and Kamino take the programming into more left-field territory.

The diversity continues beyond individual performances, with This Never Happened, the label and artist community founded by Lane 8, set to take over a stage during the weekend. Daisy Chain, the club-focused label and party series associated with Player Dave, will also host a takeover, giving both platforms an opportunity to showcase their distinct approaches to electronic music.

Beyond the lineup itself, the setting remains one of PROPER’s biggest draws. Petco Park transforms from a baseball stadium into a sprawling open-air festival environment, with stages and dancefloors extending across the venue while the Downtown San Diego skyline provides the backdrop. The combination of the stadium grounds, open air, and coastal-city atmosphere has become an integral part of the festival’s identity.

Since its launch in 2022, PROPER has established itself as a major fixture on San Diego’s electronic music calendar. Produced by FNGRS CRSSD, the team behind CRSSD Festival, the New Year’s celebration continues the promoter’s emphasis on genre-spanning curation while creating a distinctly local setting for one of the biggest party weekends of the year.
