Concord Music Publishing has announced the signing of Nashville-based artist and songwriter Conner Moye to a worldwide publishing deal. Effective immediately, the agreement covers Moye’s existing catalog as well as his upcoming projects, marking a new chapter for an emerging songwriter blending traditional country storytelling with a contemporary indie-acoustic sound.
Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Moye developed an early connection to storytelling while growing up surrounded by country music. After graduating from Belmont University, he began building his songwriting career through collaborations with artists including Brandon Wisham, Nightly, Georgia Webster, and Faith Hopkins.
At the center of Moye’s music is an ability to approach deeply personal subjects with honesty and a modern perspective. His songwriting explores complicated emotional territory, including childhood loss, alcoholism, romantic devotion, and the experiences that shape people long after they happen. That vulnerability is matched by a raw vocal delivery that gives his acoustic-driven material an intimate quality.
“I’m incredibly grateful and honored to join the Concord Publishing family. Songwriting, for me has always been about connection and writing honest stories. I can already tell that the family-like environment Concord provides is the right place for me to dive deeper into my development as a songwriter and artist. I’m especially grateful to Melissa Spillman and the entire Concord team for believing in me. I’m excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to see what we create together.”
The signing comes as Moye continues to develop his own artistic identity. Over the past year, he released the acoustic single “Feel Twice” while teasing additional unreleased material, including “Unspoken” and “Give You Tomorrow,” across his social media platforms.
His growing presence in Nashville also recently brought him to CMA Fest, where he performed at the STEM and Concord Music Publishing Rooftop Roundup showcase on Broadway. The performance offered another opportunity for Moye to introduce his songwriting to audiences within one of country music’s most important live environments.
For Concord Music Publishing, the partnership reflects the company’s interest in developing songwriters with both a distinctive voice and long-term artistic potential.
“It’s rare to find an artist and songwriter with such musical qualities as Conner. He has that star factor, that intangible quality that we all strive to find in our business, and the trajectory of his music is equally exciting. I am so happy to welcome Conner to the Concord family of artists and songwriters. He is exactly the kind of person we feel blessed to work with!” says Melissa Spillman, VP A&R at Concord Music Publishing in Nashville.
With his combination of country-rooted storytelling, indie-acoustic production, and emotionally direct songwriting, Conner Moye enters his next phase with the support of Concord Music Publishing behind him. The new publishing partnership sets the stage for further releases and collaborations as the Nashville artist continues turning personal experiences into songs built around connection and honest storytelling.
