Berlin electronic duo Brutalismus 3000 return with Harmony, a fearless 14-track album that pushes their genre-defying sound further than ever before. Comprised of producer Theo Zeitner and vocalist Victoria Vassiliki Daldas, the project showcases the pair’s most ambitious work to date, blending global influences, boundary-pushing collaborations, and uncompromising production into an album that embraces both chaos and cohesion.
Produced by Zeitner with additional production from Boys Noize and 100 gecs‘ Dylan Brady, Harmony features an eclectic list of collaborators, including actress Anya Taylor-Joy and electronic music legends Underworld. Despite its wide-ranging creative influences, the album ultimately finds unity in its diversity, transforming contrasting styles into a remarkably cohesive listening experience.
Coinciding with the album’s release, Brutalismus 3000 have also unveiled the music video for “Testo Skin 1,” completing a visually striking trilogy directed by Mau Morgo, whose previous work includes collaborations with Balenciaga, Rosalía, FKA twigs, and Madonna. Alongside the previously released videos for “Gore Louvre” and “I Bring My Gun To The Function” featuring Boys Noize, the three films form a nonlinear visual narrative that explores fractured realities, evolving relationships, and humanity’s search for connection amid disorder. Each installment can be viewed independently or in any sequence, offering audiences multiple interpretations of the overarching story.
Musically, Harmony is an exhilarating collision of genres, effortlessly weaving together elements of dubstep, trap, punk, nu-metal, techno, gabber, and hardstyle. The album balances relentless energy with adventurous songwriting, creating a collection that feels both unpredictable and meticulously crafted. What initially began as an ironic title ultimately became an accurate reflection of the finished work.
“We found the harmony in the record title,” explains Theo Zeitner, describing how the seemingly incompatible ideas behind the album gradually came together into a unified artistic vision. Unbound by geographical, lyrical, or stylistic limitations, Harmony represents the album Brutalismus 3000 always envisioned creating.
The duo’s explosive live performances have become equally synonymous with their identity. Combining pounding kick drums, distorted synths, classic Roland TR-909 textures, and Victoria Vassiliki Daldas‘ commanding multilingual vocals, Brutalismus 3000 have established themselves as one of electronic music’s most compelling live acts. Their performances at Berghain, Coachella 2024, and their acclaimed Boiler Room appearances—which have collectively surpassed 15 million views—have helped build an international following drawn to their uncompromising energy.
Earlier this year, the duo expanded their global reach with a performance at the VALORANT Championship in China, later documenting the experience in a behind-the-scenes diary for HYPEBEAST. In support of Harmony, they also hosted intimate listening events across New York City, Barcelona, Milan, Brussels, and Paris, including a live-streamed event during Fête de la Musique, before celebrating the album’s release with a hometown party in Berlin.
Fresh off supporting FKA twigs across North America, as well as appearances at Lollapalooza Brazil, Lollapalooza Argentina, and Ultra Music Festival Miami, Brutalismus 3000 are preparing for another busy touring season with performances scheduled throughout Asia, Europe, and North America.
Harmony follows last year’s GOODBYE SALÓ THE REMIXES, which featured reinterpretations from artists including The Dare, Amnesia Scanner, Underworld, Victoria, DJ Gigola, and Bazzazian. It also builds upon the momentum of the duo’s 2023 debut album, ULTRAKUNST, which introduced their uncompromising fusion of electronic, punk, and industrial influences to a rapidly growing international audience.
By combining the intensity of early gabber and hardstyle with punk attitude, wave aesthetics, and multilingual songwriting in Slovak, English, and German, Brutalismus 3000 continue to carve out one of the most distinctive identities in contemporary electronic music. With Harmony, they deliver their most expansive and adventurous statement yet—an album that transforms sonic contrasts into a bold celebration of creative freedom.
