Venice Beach is set to become one of Los Angeles‘ hottest summer destinations as a trio of open-air house music events transforms the city’s legendary coastline into a dance music hub throughout July. Timed to coincide with the excitement surrounding the FIFA World Cup 2026, the beachfront series will bring internationally recognized DJs, live performances, and thousands of fans together across Windward Plaza and Washington Boulevard for a celebration of music, community, and football.

The festivities begin on Friday, July 10, when Defected Records presents The Official Afterparty at Windward Plaza as part of the official FIFA World Cup 2026 Fan Zone programming. Running from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., the free outdoor event will showcase performances from Riva Starr, Gene Farris, OFFAIAH, Heidi Lawden, Jon Besant, Ochok, and Danny Moggs, delivering the label’s signature house sound against the iconic backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.

The celebrations continue on Sunday, July 12, as Venice Afters Club hosts The Closing Party, an open-air event headlined by acclaimed Los Angeles duo Ship Wrek. Joining the lineup are UK house standout Martin Ikin, rising DJ and producer Essel, with additional Grammy Award-winning headliners still to be revealed. Taking place as the tournament reaches its climax in Los Angeles, the event aims to capture the city’s vibrant nightlife and festival spirit during one of the biggest sporting weekends of the year.

Closing out the series on Sunday, July 19, Revival presents The World Cup Final Block Party, a free community-focused celebration on Washington Boulevard at Venice Beach. The event features Revival House Project, the live house music collective led by ALEXA PERL, alongside Grammy Award-nominated house legend Mousse T., Ibiza favorite Bender, and additional performances from Danny Moggs, Scott Tweedie, Jon Besant, and a mix of local and international talent. Combining DJs, live musicians, and vocalists, the event promises an immersive soundtrack for the tournament’s closing weekend, with organizers also teasing a special Venice Pier pop-up experience to be announced soon.

Venice Beach has been at the center of the city’s energy all summer,” said co-producer Matt Mareno. “To close it out with three days of house music on the sand, with this caliber of talent and the ocean right there, is a special moment for the Westside. From the Fan Zone programming through to our independent closing weekend, this is Venice at its best.”

Bringing together world-class electronic music talent and the global excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026, the beachfront series showcases the unique cultural connection between sport, music, and community. With free outdoor events, internationally celebrated artists, and one of California‘s most iconic settings, Venice Beach is poised to deliver one of the standout dance music experiences of the summer.
