Today, genre-blending collective 2ŁØT release “Sacrifice (Albert Harvey Remix),” the first single from their newly announced EP, The Albert Harvey Remixes, arriving October 24. The project reimagines four tracks from the band’s critically acclaimed debut album Entropy, with every remix helmed by renowned Dutch producer Albert Harvey, whose career includes collaborations with David Guetta, Avicii, Armin van Buuren, Stargate, Afrojack, and more.
A longtime innovator in electronic music, Harvey brings global dancefloor experience and deep musicality to the EP. Known for fusing soulful instrumentation with explosive production, he was a natural choice to reinterpret 2ŁØT’s immersive, live-instrument-driven sound through a new lens.
“The focus of the collaboration with Albert Harvey was to dial in a dance sound that still honored our identity as live instrumentalists,” says frontman Rudy Love Jr. “Albert has this incredible history working with some of the greatest electronic artists of our time, and he brought that same clarity and energy to these remixes. He understood our foundation but had the vision to take it somewhere totally new.”
The collaboration came together through Mikkel Eriksen of Stargate, a longtime friend of the band, who suggested Harvey when 2ŁØT began exploring a dance-forward evolution of their sound. “The timing couldn’t have been more perfect,” adds Love. “Albert happened to be planning a trip to the States – and all it took was a plane ticket to Wichita to spark a creative relationship that felt completely aligned.”
Today’s release, “Sacrifice (Albert Harvey Remix),” is a sweeping reinterpretation of one of 2ŁØT’s most poignant tracks. Originally written by Rudy Love Sr., the late soul legend and cultural icon, the song explores the tension between instant gratification and long-term growth. Where the original carried a slow-burning intensity, Harvey’s remix heightens the urgency with bold, propulsive energy—turning “Ready to give it all up” into a mantra of both surrender and empowerment.
The Albert Harvey Remixes marks a pivotal evolution in 2ŁØT’s artistic journey. Their debut album Entropy—named after the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics—examined life’s descent into chaos and the refusal to succumb. With tracks such as “Never Knew You,” “Arrow of Time” (feat. Michael Kang), “Call For Me,” and the deeply emotional “Sacrifice,” the group carved a distinctive path blending raw introspection with genre-defying experimentation.
Earlier this year, 2ŁØT collaborated with Paul Oakenfold on a remix of “Entropy,” signaling their growing influence in the global electronic scene. Their recent single with Aloe Blacc, the courage-forward anthem “Immortal,” further cemented their reputation for pairing visionary soundscapes with powerful messages, earning a debut performance on KTLA.
With Albert Harvey now reimagining four standout tracks, 2ŁØT continue to push the boundaries of their identity while staying true to their core message of resilience, transformation, and growth.
