Enigmatic artist 1788-L has joined forces with Seattle-based producer Quackson to deliver their highly anticipated collaboration ‘WARTYPE,’ out now via HypnoVizion. The track marks an explosive beginning to 1788-L‘s new chapter, combining both artists‘ signature midtempo styles into a relentless, high-octane masterpiece.
‘WARTYPE’ delivers an electrifying experience from start to finish, with thunderous builds and cataclysmic drops that amplify the track’s intensity at every turn. Known for pushing boundaries in sound design, 1788-L and Quackson expertly blend complex, industrial elements with ferocious energy. As one of the pioneers of the midtempo genre, 1788-L first emerged in 2018 with his unique fusion of techno and industrial remixes, quickly gaining recognition. Over the years, he’s collaborated with top names like Rezz, The Glitch Mob, Illenium, and Blanke. ‘WARTYPE’ marks 1788-L‘s debut release on HypnoVizion and his first original track of the year, following the success of his debut album ALPHA+ via mau5trap.
Seattle’s Quackson has made a name for himself in the bass music scene with his heavy, unpredictable soundscapes. His previous releases on HypnoVizion, Bassrush, Space Yacht, and Ophelia have earned him support from industry heavyweights like Rezz, Deathpact, and Excision. ‘WARTYPE’ follows his previous HypnoVizion releases ‘Gyrate’ with Rezz and Wreckno, and ‘Caffeine Induced Psychosis’ with EDDIE.
