Nora En Pure’s Polynesia EP Brings the Beach to Winter

by Tigerlily
Just in time for the cold winter and soggy spring, Nora En Pure’s Polynesia EP makes me feel like I’m in a hammock with a Mai Tai in hand, listening to the waves and the susurration of the palm leaves overhead.  Opening with the title track, ‘Polynesia’ is a touching instrumental piece that cascades with piano chords and airy synths across a dream-like soundscape. ‘Harvesting’ takes a clubbier direction, combining melancholic piano chords and dramatic synths with a punchy bassline, as well as groovy beat patterns. ‘Riverwards Stream’ has been making an impact in her live performances with its pristine instrumental arrangement and soaring vocal piece. Turning up the heat with ‘Lioness’, Nora En Pure closes the EP with an up-tempo production that demands attention with a deep bassline and untamed textures.
Following a non-stop summer tour, playing and headlining some of the world’s most prominent festivals and nightclubs, queen of deep house Nora En Pure returns with her latest musical offering in the shape of her explorative 4-track Polynesia EP – out now via Enormous Tunes.
Meeting many career milestones and developing her brand across the globe, Nora En Pure has made every moment of 2018 count. Touring relentlessly, she played sets at the likes of Ultra Music Festival, both weekends of TomorrowlandPanorama NYCNocturnal WonderlandVoodoo Fest and Freaky Deaky, winning crowds over with her flawless sets. After her successful Purified Miami Music Week opening party in March and her first ever European Purified event at Zürich’s annual Street Parade in August, Daniela went on to host Purified shows in San Francisco with Tensnake and Hobson and New York with KidnapMoonwalk and Local Dialect. With her Polynesia Tour in full swing, Nora En Pure will be playing a selection of shows across North America before heading out to Australia for her annual outing. With her four new tracks bringing a new dimension and energy to her live shows, this tour is not one to be missed.
