Mamby on the Beach | Five Must See’s Artists + Curated YouTube Playlist

by Jennifer Fall

The time has finally come. Spring has officially hit, (or if you live in Indiana, we skipped it and went straight to summer) and festival season is in full swing. With so many lineups to chose from, Mamby on the Beach delivered a stellar lineup for this two-day intimate event.

I couldn’t be more excited to see this festival in person, as I have attempted to attend the past 2 years to no avail. There are so many gems on this lineup it was honestly difficult to choose a top 5. At Mamby there is something for everyone, from Rock, to Hip Hop, House, Techno, and EDM.

Now that you have had a chance to listen to the playlist, here is where you can catch my personal not to be missed sets.

Spoon: I had the pleasure of seeing them for the first time last year in Lousiville. They put on a phenomenal show. Definitely worth seeing a second time.

Gorgon City Live: Another favorite of mine, and to be blessed with a live set is absolutely not to be missed!

Moon Boots: Anjuna family rejoice, you now have a rare opportunity to see my favorite new house producer live in the Midwest. I would literally have purchased a ticket just to see him alone. “First Landing” is still my pick for the best House music album that has come out in years.

Jai Wolf: I have heard that once you have been “Wolfed” you will never be the same. I don’t exactly know what that means, but I can’t get “Starlight” out of my head.

Richie Hawtin: All the techno you can handle, and some you didn’t even bargain for. Who’s ready for the Plastikman himself?

Remember your sunblock kids, and Fresh Music Freaks will see you at the beach!
