One of the most revered figures in house music history, Grammy-winning DJ, producer, and label head Roger Sanchez today releases his long-awaited new studio album Spectrum—his first full-length project in two decades.

A defining architect of global dancefloor culture, Sanchez marks the occasion with a deeply personal body of work that has been years in the making. The album was previewed through three singles—“Grinnin’” (with Fedde Le Grand), “Come My Way,” and “Temptation” (with Low Steppa featuring Ragdoll)—each offering a glimpse into the sonic range that defines Spectrum.

Much of the album was written during Sanchez’s time in Shoreditch, a period that helped shape its UK-influenced summer sound palette. Across its runtime, Spectrum moves fluidly between driving club cuts, vocal-driven dancefloor anthems, and more atmospheric, introspective moments, with lyrics rooted in personal experience and reflection.

The album brings together an expansive lineup of collaborators spanning genres and regions, including Melanie C, Kele Le Roc, Chico Castillo, Kelli-Leigh, Carnao Beats, Donae’O, and more. One standout moment arrives with “How Do We Say Goodbye,” created alongside in-demand vocalist Karen Harding, whose credits include MNEK, Armand Van Helden, Rudimental, and Wilkinson. Her soaring vocal performance anchors the track’s emotional core, as Sanchez builds from a trance-like introduction into a powerful, euphoric peak-time drop.

In recent weeks, Sanchez has also re-emerged in the spotlight with a string of media appearances, including a back-to-back set with TCTS for KISS and a televised interview on Sunday Brunch, reaffirming his continued presence at the center of the scene he helped shape.

Alongside its digital release, Spectrum will be available on June 26 as a red transparent triple-vinyl edition, designed for both collectors and working DJs. The physical release includes a limited-edition signed art card and a download code for an unreleased bonus track.

Sanchez will also take Spectrum on the road throughout the summer, including his Flower Power residency at Pacha Ibiza, featuring special guests ranging from major house names to album collaborators and emerging talent. His wider touring schedule spans European festivals, Hacienda Classical performances in the UK, and appearances at leading clubs and events across the continent.

Speaking on the project, Sanchez reflects:

“I’ve been working on this for the past six years, so it’s definitely a labor of love. During that time I got the chance to travel around the world and work with some amazing vocalists and songwriters to help me bring this project to life. I’ve got flavors from the UK, Spain, the US—all of this is part of the spectrum. This project is about music and frequencies and light: everything from the light to the soulful to the club-ready infrared, the emotionally-weighted ultraviolet. That’s what ‘Spectrum’ is all about for me.”

With Spectrum, Roger Sanchez not only revisits his legacy—he reframes it, delivering a record that bridges eras, influences, and emotional frequencies into one cohesive body of work.
