The festival’s return marks a major moment for Denver’s electronic music community following a pause in 2025, re-establishing Global Dance Festival as one of the region’s flagship live events and a cornerstone of Colorado’s dance music culture.
Originally launched more than two decades ago, Global Dance Festival has evolved alongside Denver’s emergence as one of North America’s premier electronic music markets. Throughout its history, the festival has hosted defining performances from artists including Skrillex, Kaskade, Excision, Pretty Lights, Deadmau5, Illenium, Martin Garrix, Above & Beyond, Porter Robinson, and Zeds Dead, helping shape the city’s identity as a destination for large-scale dance music experiences.
The 2026 lineup reflects the continued evolution of the festival itself, balancing globally recognized headliners with artists driving the next wave of electronic music culture across bass, house, melodic, trap, and experimental sounds.

Its return also arrives amid continued momentum surrounding Denver’s wider electronic music ecosystem, fueled by iconic venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Mission Ballroom, and Civic Center Park, alongside a rapidly expanding festival landscape across the region.
Known for large-scale production, immersive visuals, and a deeply rooted community presence, Global Dance Festival continues to stand as more than just a festival weekend—it remains one of Colorado’s defining annual gathering points for dance music fans.
