Where forward-facing house meets underground sensibility, Max Styler continues to refine his curatorial voice with the release of “NEXUS 002,” the latest installment in his compilation series, out now via his Nu Moda imprint. Bridging tech house, indie dance, and melodic club textures, the project captures a snapshot of the evolving global dancefloor through a tightly curated selection of artists shaping its sound.

Building on the foundation of its predecessor, “NEXUS 002” unfolds as a cohesive yet wide-ranging journey—balancing peak-time impact with more nuanced, atmospheric moments. Featuring contributions from Nico RacKnorstAndrew MellerRem SimanJonathanPETEL & MADI, and Greggio, the compilation reflects Max Styler’s ear for both emerging talent and established names operating at the edge of the underground.

Released through Nu Moda, the project further cements the label’s identity as a platform for genre-fluid club music. With a focus on elevating distinctive voices, the imprint continues to carve out space for producers pushing beyond traditional house frameworks, positioning “NEXUS 002” as a defining entry in its growing catalog.

Opening the compilation, Greggio’s “Attack” sets a relentless tone. Built around aggressive rap vocal loops and punctuated by contrasting female-led breakdowns, the track leans into a dark, driving groove—fusing buzzing triplets, sharp percussion, and rolling low-end pressure into a peak-time weapon.

From there, Nico Rac shifts the energy into a groove-driven lane with “Bet You Know Me,” pairing infectious vocal hooks with a sleek, late-night rhythm section. Knorst’s “Don’t Stop” maintains that momentum, driven by punchy drums and a tightly wound arrangement that sustains its forward thrust.

Midway through, Andrew Meller introduces a more melodic dimension on “Alborada,” weaving emotive synth work into a structure that balances atmosphere with dancefloor functionality. Rem Siman’s “Sugar” follows with a more playful edge, layering vibrant textures and rhythmic bounce into a polished, club-ready cut.

On the latter half, Jonathan’s “Savage” strips things back into darker territory, using minimal elements and commanding low-end to create a hypnotic, late-night tool. Closing the project, PETEL & MADI’s “Who Knows” offers a more introspective finish, blending airy tonal elements with a steady groove that lingers beyond the final moments.

The release arrives on the heels of “NEXUS 001,” which garnered support from outlets including EDM Tunes, EDM Identity, and The Groove Cartel, helping establish Nu Moda as a tastemaking force within the global house landscape.

Among the contributors, Greggio continues to emerge as a standout name. The Brazil-born, London-based producer has earned support from artists such as Solomun, Vintage Culture, Mau P, Adriatique, and Jamie Jones, with performances spanning UNVRS Ibiza, Burning Man, E1 London, and Só Track Boa Festival. His presence on “NEXUS 002” signals both momentum and a clear position within the next wave of club innovators.

“We’re back with the second installment of Nexus on Nu Moda with 7 records that have been absolute weapons in my recent sets,” says Max Styler. “Each one of these artists are truly talented and making music that I find really exciting. Very glad these are finally coming out on my label.”

With “NEXUS 002,” Max Styler sharpens his role not just as a producer, but as a curator—assembling a release that reflects where house music is now, and where it’s headed next.
