From August 10 to 12, 2026, the Mish Mash Festival returns to the historic Arab-Norman Castle of Milazzo, reaffirming its status as one of Italy’s most distinctive summer gatherings. Blending contemporary electronic music with hybrid club culture and site-specific performance, the festival continues to evolve its identity while remaining rooted in its immersive, landscape-driven setting.

At the heart of this year’s edition is a strengthened electronic focus shaped by three key projects. The Dutch collective Yin Yin brings its unmistakable fusion of psychedelic funk, global rhythms, and analogue electronics, creating a sound that moves fluidly between dancefloor momentum and cinematic atmosphere. Joining them is Turbolenta, the Moroccan–Algerian project known for its high-intensity approach to club music, drawing from North African rhythmic traditions and reworking them through a raw, forward-pushing electronic lens. Completing the core is Sam Ruffillo, associated with Berlin imprint Toy Tonics, whose refined production language sits between house, disco, and a more melodic, leftfield European club aesthetic.

Beyond its electronic backbone, the lineup expands into more song-oriented and experimental territory. Ditonellapiaga arrives following her Sanremo 2026 appearance and the release of her new album Miss Italia, adding a sharp pop sensibility to the program. She is joined by a diverse selection of artists including Faccianuvola, Bouganville, Nico Arezzo, Le Feste Antonacci, Amore Audio, and Pufuleti, each contributing to a broader spectrum that moves between songwriting, electronic experimentation, and avant-pop expression.

The festival also highlights its DJ and emerging talent programming, with sets from Freja, Lodomil & MTM, and Erika De Gaetano featured across the warm-up schedule. Winners of the Figli delle Stelle contest—Claudio Covato, Moyre, and Piazza Trento’s—round out the emerging artist section, reinforcing the festival’s ongoing commitment to new voices.

Marking its tenth anniversary, Mish Mash Festival continues to expand its narrative framework, drawing inspiration from Greek mythology and themes of travel and transformation. The Castle of Milazzo becomes a dual-stage environment: DJ sets and audiovisual performances unfold within the former monastery, while live shows take place in the main stage set in Duomo Square, enhanced by site-specific installations and visual works that blur the line between performance and architecture.

Tickets are available via DICE, with the 2026 edition shaping up as one of the festival’s most ambitious chapters to date.
