Grammy-nominated, gold-certified songwriter and powerhouse vocalist HAYLA is set to return to North America this fall with her newly announced The Dark Tour, marking a bold new phase in her artistic evolution. The run begins August 6 in Chicago, Illinois, traveling across major markets throughout the East Coast, West Coast, and Midwest, before concluding September 4 in Los Angeles, California with a special performance at The Fonda Theatre. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 1, with an exclusive artist presale launching April 29, followed by a Spotify presale on April 30.
The tour announcement arrives on the heels of her latest single, “Heal,” a stripped-back and emotionally resonant release that places her signature alto vocals front and center. Built around a minimalist arrangement of piano and strings, the track leans into vulnerability, with HAYLA delivering the poignant line, “I want you to heal the parts of me that no one loved, the things that I have never felt, it’s nice to feel I’m not alone.” At its core, the song carries a simple but powerful message: connection in shared emotion.
“Heal” offers the first glimpse into a larger body of work set to arrive later this year. Earlier in March 2026, a select audience experienced this next chapter firsthand during an intimate performance at St Pancras Church in London, where HAYLA debuted a collection of entirely new material from her forthcoming album. She describes the evolving sound as “sad bitch music”—a space where emotional weight meets quiet strength, blending themes of loss, love, grief, and resilience. Rather than prescribing meaning, the music invites listeners to sit within their own experiences.
The Dark Tour continues this shift with intention. While her previous tour leaned into her roots within electronic dance music—highlighted by collaborations like “In My Arms” with Illenium, the iHeartRadio Music Awards-nominated “FADED” with Nelly Furtado, and fan favorites “Where You Are” and “Shiver” with John Summit—this new chapter signals a clear departure. It’s a reinvention grounded less in the dancefloor and more in emotional depth, showcasing HAYLA not just as a featured voice, but as a fully realized solo artist stepping into her own narrative.
