Electronic music visionary ZHU (real name Steven Zhu) has unveiled his expansive ON THE MOVE tour, spanning Europe, South America, and North America in support of his latest album BLACK MIDAS (Broke / BLACKLIZT Sound Syndicate). Artist presale begins Wednesday, April 29, with general on-sale launching May 1 at 10 a.m. local time.
The ON THE MOVE run kicks off May 15 in Bogotá, Colombia, launching a global stretch that moves fluidly between club environments and major festival stages. The routing includes previously announced appearances at Into The Horizon Festival in San Diego, Audioriver Festival in Poland, and Tomorrowland in Belgium, alongside a series of first-time performances at standout venues including Medusa Club in Medellín, Club Chinois Ibiza, Pacha Munich, The Concourse Project in Austin, and SILO in Dallas.
The tour also marks notable returns to key international markets, including a performance at The Roundhouse in London and multiple stops across Turkey, where ZHU will revisit venues such as La Nouba, Yuzu Beach, and MAGI Beach—locations that previously hosted his immersive BLACKLIZT events.
Few artists in electronic music operate with the same multidisciplinary intent as ZHU, whose work consistently extends beyond traditional club and festival frameworks. Through a combination of sonic world-building and immersive live environments, he continues to reshape expectations around performance and audience experience. Building on the aesthetic language established through his BLACKLIZT concept, fans attending ON THE MOVE shows are encouraged to wear all black, stepping into a cohesive visual and auditory atmosphere that reflects the darker, more refined tones of BLACK MIDAS. The album features standout tracks including “5STARR,” “LEVELZZ,” and “BURN,” highlighting his continued exploration of deep house and melodic techno.
The road to BLACK MIDAS was marked by a prolific 2025, during which ZHU deepened his connection to global dance culture through a series of high-profile DJ sets and collaborations. Appearances alongside Mathame in Bogotá and deadmau5 at Coachella’s Quasar Stage showcased his evolving live presence, while surprise pop-ups following the Bonnaroo weather shutdown in Nashville, as well as sets at Brooklyn Storehouse in New York City and Lightning in a Bottle, reinforced his reputation for spontaneity and innovation. Additional performances with Paul Kalkbrenner and Mahmut Orhan further underscored his cross-scene reach.

Closing out the year, ZHU delivered a headline performance at VW Arena in Istanbul and returned to London for a set at the iconic Drumsheds. In 2026, he made a highly anticipated return to Ultra Music Festival—his first since 2017—with a striking BLACK MIDAS presentation staged “in the round,” complete with mannequins and a dramatic fire-laden production. He has since continued his momentum with appearances at SXSW, alongside tour dates across Australia and Alaska.
With ON THE MOVE, ZHU continues to blur the line between club culture and conceptual art, bringing BLACK MIDAS to life through a globally scaled experience that prioritizes atmosphere, intention, and evolution.
