Marten Lou continues his run of standout collaborations, following his recent track “Need You” with Colyn, with a new release born from another creative partnership. His latest single, “Hideaway,” sees him link up with Mexico City’s Luch, a longtime friend and fellow producer who shares his affinity for warm, organic textures, deep grooves, and pushing beyond traditional house boundaries.

The track will be premiered live during Miami Music Week, where Marten Lou and Luch will debut it together for the first time, marking another milestone in their ongoing creative dialogue.

“Hideaway” didn’t emerge overnight. The two artists have spent the past year exchanging ideas, sketches, and demos, continuing a collaborative relationship that first gained momentum in 2025 with their joint remix of Wales’ viral hit “LoveHate Thing (feat. Sam Dew),” which has amassed over 260 million streams.

“Even from the very first version I had the feeling that there was something special about it,” says Marten Lou. “The track has a bit of an indie house character, which feels like a natural evolution from what we did before. We both wanted to create something that still carries emotional depth but also feels fresh and slightly different from our previous collaboration.”

That evolution is clear in the record’s sound design. “Hideaway” unfolds through a hypnotic, slow-burning groove, layered with warm textures and understated melodic detail. The result is cinematic without losing its club focus, balancing intimacy and movement in equal measure.

“For us it was important that the song creates a certain feeling of escape,” Marten Lou explains. “Whether they’re listening at home or on the dancefloor, the song has a very uplifting and emotional energy, which is something I always try to capture in my music.”

The vocal narrative reinforces that theme of emotional refuge. “My light when I’m in the dark / My soul when I’ve lost my heart,” the refrain unfolds, leading into the central hook: “I’m safe now you are my hideaway.” The lyric anchors the track in vulnerability and release, shaping a moment of emotional clarity within a driving club framework.

“Hideaway” also signals a continued expansion of Marten Lou’s sonic identity. While melodic and emotional elements have long defined his work, this release leans further into organic and indie-leaning textures, reflecting an ongoing push toward new sonic territory without losing emotional focus.

Alongside the release and his Miami Music Week appearance, Marten Lou also landed the cover of Mixmag LATAM & Caribbean, marking another visible moment in what has become a steadily rising international trajectory.
