Electronic artist, producer, and songwriter Loukeman—the creative alias of Luke Fenton—has released Sd-3 via September Recordings, marking the final chapter in his long-evolving Sd trilogy. First introduced five years ago, the series comes full circle with a project that reflects both his physical travels and internal shifts, delivered through a wide-ranging, emotionally rich sonic palette.
Created during a period of constant movement, Sd-3 captures the tension between life on the road and the grounding pull of home. After months of touring, launching his own club night series, and working on a forthcoming film score, Loukeman found himself returning to Toronto to complete the project—using the city as an anchor for both routine and creative clarity.
The album showcases his signature approach to electronic music, blending elements of R&B, folk, and pop into fluid, shape-shifting compositions. Tracks move seamlessly between club-ready house rhythms and more introspective, melodic moments, reflecting a style rooted in instinct rather than rigid structure. Rather than chasing trends or overthinking direction, Loukeman allows the music to evolve naturally, embracing unpredictability and emotional honesty.
That philosophy extends to the album’s sequencing, which resists staying in one mood for too long. Contributions from collaborators like Lizzy McAlpine, Ralphie Choo, and Nate Sib further expand its tonal range, adding depth to an already dynamic body of work.
Since the release of Sd-2 in 2024, Loukeman has steadily built momentum across the global electronic scene. His production credits include work with A$AP Rocky and PinkPantheress, alongside collaborations with emerging talents like Brat Star and Jump Source. Support from artists such as Fred Again.. has further elevated his profile, positioning him as a go-to producer within the scene.
The release of Sd-3 is being celebrated with a series of live dates, beginning with an album release party in Toronto, followed by a second event in Los Angeles on May 14. From there, Loukeman will bring the project to international stages, including shows at Venue M.O.T., We Love Green in Paris, and Carriageworks, before returning to London for a performance at Old Royal Naval College alongside Overmono. The run will also include an appearance at Cloud 9 Festival in Rideau Lakes, Ontario, Canada.
With Sd-3, Loukeman closes out a defining chapter of his career—not with a sense of finality, but with a clear statement of artistic identity. It’s a project shaped by movement, reflection, and growth, capturing an artist fully in tune with his own evolution.
