ULTRA Worldwide has officially announced the return of ULTRA Mexico, set to take place November 7–8, 2026 at its new home, Estadio Banorte. Marking its third edition, the festival will transform the iconic venue into a multi-stage, two-day electronic music experience—while also making history as the first-ever electronic music festival held at the stadium.
The 2026 edition follows two standout years in 2017 and 2018, which established ULTRA Mexico as a major force in the region. Previous lineups featured global superstars such as Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Alesso, and Afrojack in 2017, followed by Armin van Buuren, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Marshmello, and Steve Angello in 2018.
The festival also played a key role in expanding ULTRA Worldwide’s underground brand, RESISTANCE, with early-stage showcases in Mexico featuring leading house and techno artists. Performers across both years included Dubfire, The Martinez Brothers, Paco Osuna, Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler, as well as Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Luciano, and Tale Of Us.
For 2026, the festival moves into the newly renovated Estadio Banorte, a landmark stadium in Mexico City that has undergone a major transformation ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Backed by an investment of 2.1 billion Mexican pesos, the upgraded venue now accommodates approximately 87,000 spectators. It also holds a unique place in sports history as the first stadium to host three FIFA World Cup tournaments—1970, 1986, and 2026—adding further significance to ULTRA Mexico’s return.
Tickets for the event will go on sale Thursday, April 30, with both VIP and General Admission options available. As with other ULTRA Worldwide events, a tiered pricing system will be in place, with ticket prices increasing as lower tiers sell out.
As part of the broader ULTRA Worldwide portfolio, ULTRA Mexico reinforces the brand’s status as the most international music festival series in the world. With active events spanning all six inhabited continents—including the flagship Ultra Music Festival in Miami—the brand continues to set the standard for large-scale electronic music experiences, combining elite talent, advanced production, and global cultural reach.
With a historic venue, a legacy of world-class lineups, and the backing of one of the most influential festival brands in the industry, ULTRA Mexico 2026 is poised to deliver a landmark moment for both the festival and Mexico City’s growing electronic music scene.
