Rising Portland-based producer FENRA returns with a mesmerizing remix of AUNCE’s ethereal rendition of Radiohead’s “All I Need,” set for release on April 17, 2026 via 6x Records. The track arrives following the momentum of his CHICAGO EP, as well as a remix from Oliver Schories of its standout title track “CHICAGO.” His 2025 Delusional EP further cemented his rising profile, earning support from outlets including Magnetic Magazine, CLASH Magazine, Electronic Groove, and When We Dip.
Operating under his electronic alias, FENRA—the project of producer B Laws—draws from a deeply personal musical foundation. Raised around art and introduced to harmony through church hymns, his journey began with guitar at 14, eventually expanding into synths, vocals, and touring bands across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Influenced by artists such as Caribou, Four Tet, Floating Points, Bonobo, and DJ Koze, his sound bridges cinematic scope with introspective depth.
AUNCE, a London-based producer, composer, and vocalist, has quickly emerged as a distinctive voice in experimental electronic music. Blurring the lines between pop, electronica, and sonic art, her work explores themes of nature, power, and human behavior. Releases including “Beep Beep,” “Evergreen,” “Silver Sun,” “Zoo Friend,” and “Come Back” established her as a boundary-pushing artist, praised for a sound that is at once grounded and ethereal, visceral yet introspective.
Her rework of “All I Need” transforms Radiohead’s dark, downtempo Art Rock original into a weightless, avant-pop interpretation—eschewing percussion in favor of soaring synths and delicate vocal phrasing. FENRA’s remix reintroduces a downtempo framework, reshaping the track into a textured landscape of dubby atmospheres and slow-burning rhythms, where AUNCE’s vocals drift with striking clarity.
Speaking on the remix, FENRA shares: “I’d been working with AUNCE on an original collaboration when she shared an a cappella she’d recorded of Radiohead’s ‘All I Need.’ Hearing her voice in isolation completely reframed the song for me, and I followed that instinct to build a new, restrained environment around her performance. Rather than reinterpreting Radiohead directly, the remix centers her vocal and reshapes the atmosphere through texture and negative space.”
With this release, FENRA continues to refine his sonic identity—balancing restraint and emotion—while offering a nuanced reinterpretation that honors the original while carving out an entirely new space within it.
