Electronic music visionary REZZ returns with her latest project, A Shift In Perspective, out now via HypnoVizion. Marking a bold evolution in her sound, the EP pushes her signature hypnotic style into darker, more kinetic electro territory, refining her sonic identity with precision and intent.
Across the project, REZZ leans into tension and negative space, crafting a cinematic listening experience that moves fluidly between melodic clarity and fractured, layered rhythms. Each track unfolds with deliberate pacing, building toward immersive, off-kilter climaxes that feel both unpredictable and distinctly her own.
Standout moments include “Circuit,” a collaboration with Limbo Slice, which introduces a sharper, more immediate shift in tempo, signaling a departure from expectation. On “CAUTION,” created with Street Fever, REZZ delivers a track that feels focused and purpose-driven, while “Hysteria” pivots through a brief piano-led passage before dissolving into textured, uneven rhythms—mirroring the EP’s overarching sense of transformation. Previously released single “SICK FUCK” anchors the project, reinforcing a version of REZZ that feels more distilled, self-defined, and aligned with her current artistic vision.
Speaking on the project, REZZ shares, “The title of this EP alludes to the idea that we can all shift the perspective of others based on how we dress, the art we make, the way we speak, our actions and our behaviors. We have the power to alter the way the world reflects back to us, and that’s a thought that I personally love. It’s an inspiring thought that perspective can shift and the way you are currently viewed, have been viewed in the past, and view yourself can change. The music in this project is a clear representation of how I want to be perceived now and how I want my art to sound and feel.”
The release arrives amid a major run for REZZ, following her As The Pendulum Swings Tour and the Minneapolis edition of her ambitious PORTAL audio-visual experience. With REZZ ROCKS VIII on the horizon and a highly anticipated return to Coachella approaching, A Shift In Perspective captures a defining moment of forward momentum.
Fans can catch REZZ live at Coachella on Saturday, April 11 and Saturday, April 18, performing from 9:10–10:05 PM on the Sahara Stage, as she continues to shape the next chapter of her evolving sound in 2026.
