MESTIZA are set to release their highly anticipated second studio album ‘Spanish Chica’ on April 10, marking a defining moment in their rapidly ascending global trajectory. Following the rollout of singles including ‘Enamorá’, ‘Báilame’, ‘Qué Calor qué Calor’, and ‘Salam’, the duo now unveil a full-length project centered around celebrating the empowered Spanish woman on an international stage.

Across fifteen tracks, ‘Spanish Chica’ deepens MESTIZA’s signature sound, blending melodic techno with Latin house grooves, traditional Spanish percussion, Afro house influences, and sweeping Arabic-inspired melodies. The result is a richly layered, immersive body of work that reflects both their cultural roots and forward-thinking production approach.

The album arrives at a pivotal time for MESTIZA, as they prepare for a series of landmark moments throughout 2026. This summer, the duo will make history as the first female artists to lead a full-season residency in the main room of Hï Ibiza—widely regarded as the world’s number one club. Taking over Sundays in the venue’s iconic Theatre space, the 19-date residency will run from May 31 through October 4, marking a major milestone for female representation at the highest level of club culture.

That same season, MESTIZA will also break new ground as the only female Spanish artists on the lineup at Coachella, further solidifying their expanding international presence. Their debut at the globally renowned festival signals a key step in their continued rise beyond Europe.

Since forming in 2021, MESTIZA have built a distinct artistic identity rooted in the fusion of heritage and innovation. Their debut album ‘Quëreles’ debuted at number one in Spain, establishing them as one of the most compelling emerging acts in electronic music.

Prior to joining forces, both artists spent over a decade developing their individual careers, bringing depth and perspective into the project. That experience translates into performances that feel cinematic and immersive—where the emotional intensity of flamenco meets the hypnotic pulse of electronic music, transforming the dancefloor into a shared cultural experience.

With ‘Spanish Chica’, MESTIZA not only expand their sonic universe but also step into a year defined by global milestones. As festival stages grow larger and cultural impact deepens, the duo continue to position themselves at the forefront of a new movement in electronic music—one that bridges tradition, identity, and the future of the dancefloor.
