UK electronic duo Nichols+Roark celebrate a defining career milestone with the release of their Full Circle EP, the debut project on the iconic Renaissance label. Comprised of four tracks, the EP serves as both a creative statement and a personal landmark, closing a loop that began more than two decades ago when the pair were regulars at Renaissance parties across Nottingham, Ibiza, and London.
The title Full Circle reflects this journey, representing a return to the label that first shaped their musical outlook. Across the EP, Nichols+Roark fuse modern progressive house textures with an indie dance edge, balancing emotive songwriting with driving club energy.
Opening tracks “Superfly” and “Rhythm State” lean into the duo’s indie dance roots. “Rhythm State” invites listeners to immerse themselves in its futuristic, sci-fi-tinged synths with the vocal hook “listen to the rhythm,” while “Superfly” captures the feeling of liberation that defines the club experience with an instantly recognizable four-bar loop anchoring the groove.
The collaboration “Loyou” with German artist Zoka channels 80s sci-fi aesthetics and analogue synth textures, creating a dark, cinematic atmosphere inspired by a sunrise set at ADE’s Innversions party. Closing the EP, “Blue” featuring Ro (Rory Hope) is reimagined by German producer Ron Flatter, transforming the synth-pop original into a club-ready track that retains its emotional core.

Full Circle not only honors Nichols+Roark’s past but also signals the next chapter of their evolution. They will debut tracks from the EP live alongside Anthony Pappa at the RENAISSANCE x DEEP UNDERGROUND Official Afterparty – Rave In A Cave in Nottingham this April, completing the circle in the very city where their journey began.
