Malóne Morez begins 2026 with the release of “Rushin,” a collaboration with Malcom Zeller, out now via BLOND:ISH’s ABRA X imprint. The single signals the start of a new chapter for the Miami-based, Cuban-born DJ and producer, who was previously known simply as Malóne.

The shift to Malóne Morez marks less of a reinvention and more of a realignment. After years of building his reputation through marathon terrace sets at Club Space, consistent international touring, and a disciplined approach to production, the new moniker reflects a clearer artistic direction.

Launching this phase on ABRA X feels like a natural fit. The label, curated by BLOND:ISH, has established itself as a platform for forward-thinking house music rooted in groove, connection, and community—values that closely mirror Malóne Morez’s own philosophy on the dancefloor.

“Rushin” captures that ethos with precision. Built around tight percussion, rolling low-end pressure, and a vocal that locks seamlessly into the rhythm, the track unfolds with patience. Rather than aiming for immediate peaks, the production is designed to evolve gradually, allowing the groove to build naturally within a room.

Reflecting on the release, Malóne Morez explains:

“This is probably the most aligned I’ve felt as an artist. The music is more focused, more groove-driven. I’m not trying to chase moments — I’m building them.”

The single follows a transformative 2025 for the artist, who spent the summer immersed in Ibiza’s club circuit, performing at Hï Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, and key European venues before returning to Miami with renewed creative clarity. As a resident at the legendary Club Space, Malóne Morez has spent years refining the craft of the extended set, learning how to guide a crowd over hours rather than relying on momentary drops—an approach that shapes the slow-burning energy of “Rushin.”

The track has already garnered early support from Jamie Jones, BLOND:ISH, Eli & Fur, Hector Romero, Nemone of BBC Radio 6, Calussa, Hunter/Game, Kant, Sasson, Eelke Kleijn, and Pirupa, underscoring its immediate resonance across the global circuit.

With Miami Music Week approaching, a debut at Ultra Music Festival’s Resistance stage confirmed, and several major releases on the horizon—including a 30-year anniversary reinterpretation of Funky Green Dogs’ “Fired Up” via Nervous RecordsMalóne Morez is setting the tone for what promises to be a defining year.
