Following three consecutive sold-out editions that have revitalized Southern California’s waterfront entertainment scene, Pier Play is set to return to the iconic Santa Monica Pier on Saturday, May 30, 2026 for its fourth installment. Presented by global experience ecosystem RASA, the event promises another immersive celebration of music, art, and discovery set against one of California’s most recognizable landmarks.
Tickets for the event are available now.
The 2026 edition will be headlined by the global debut of Âme Live Presents, marking a new chapter for the influential electronic duo. Known for a career spanning more than two decades, Âme will expand their acclaimed live format with a new performance concept that incorporates guest vocalists into the show. Joining the lineup are a diverse group of international artists, including a b2b set from AWEN and Xinobi, as well as performances from French electronic visionary Notre Dame and rising talent Darina Chuz. Organizers have also hinted that additional surprise guests will be revealed in the lead-up to the festival.
Since launching in 2023, Pier Play has distinguished itself as the first and only dance music festival hosted directly on the Santa Monica Pier. Working in partnership with the Santa Monica Pier Foundation and the City of Santa Monica, the event has quickly grown into one of the city’s most anticipated cultural gatherings.
The festival is known for its playful and immersive atmosphere, combining music with interactive experiences across the historic boardwalk. Past editions have featured performances from artists including Shimza, Enamour, Henri Bergman, Leila Benitez, Nandu, Gheist, Chambord, Magdalena, and Yammagucci, alongside experiential attractions such as vintage arcades, mechanical bull sharks, art installations, and pop-up barbershops—all included for guests attending the event. Details surrounding the 2026 experiential program are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
A defining element of Pier Play is its setting. The Santa Monica Pier, one of the most photographed locations in the world, embodies the classic California coastal experience. With sweeping ocean views and the energy of a historic boardwalk, the festival transforms the landmark into a vibrant playground for music lovers from around the globe.
Designed as a more intentional and curated gathering, Pier Play offers a limited-capacity experience featuring a dance music-focused lineup, sunset oceanfront performances, and a playful festival environment set directly above the Pacific. The event is strictly 21+.
