German-Polish audiovisual innovator Fejká has announced his newest release, Azur (Deluxe), arriving 26th February via his newly launched label Coexist. The expanded edition coincides with the release of a powerful remix of ‘Tape_X247’ by Max Cooper, marking the first statement from this new independent chapter.
An expansive reimagining of his celebrated album, Azur (Deluxe) is led by Cooper’s striking reinterpretation of ‘Tape_X247’. The remix drifts between weightless atmospherics and subtly pulsing percussion, crafting an immersive journey that feels both cerebral and emotionally expansive. Known for his meticulous approach and selective remix work, Cooper amplifies the emotional architecture of the original while pushing it into widescreen territory, balancing introspection with quiet intensity.
For Fejká, the deluxe release signals a transformative period of creative autonomy. Stepping fully into independence, he launches Coexist as a platform for uncompromised artistic expression, bringing renewed clarity, ambition, and forward momentum to his work. The Max Cooper remix sets the tone for a broader movement still to unfold. Further reinterpretations from acclaimed artists including Einmusik and Jinjé add fresh dimensions to the original material, each imprinting their distinct sonic identity while preserving the melodic depth that defines Azur. Together, these reworks expand the album’s emotional spectrum — stretching from euphoric festival climaxes to intimate late-night atmospheres.
While touring across Europe’s biggest festival stages, Fejká revisited a collection of demos originally intended for Azur but left unfinished at the time of its initial release. Inspired by the scale and kinetic energy of his live performances, he began reshaping and completing these tracks on the road, refining arrangements in real time and tailoring them for the dancefloor. The result is a bold evolution of the album, infused with the dynamism of his touring experience and elevated through a carefully curated series of remixes.
The release also arrives at a milestone moment for Max Cooper, who recently sold out London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on 7th April, underlining the scale and impact of his audiovisual vision.
Already circulating among tastemakers and appearing in recent festival sets, the new material showcases Fejká at his most refined and forward-thinking. Blending immersive visuals, textured sound design, and melodic precision, Azur (Deluxe) affirms his position at the forefront of modern electronic music and signals the beginning of an ambitious new era under Coexist.
