With the radiant new single “Summer Haze” — and its dreamy B-side “Closer” — Om Records continues the rollout of OM RECORDS – 30 YEARS, the anniversary compilation arriving May 8, 2026.
“Summer Haze” pairs Samantha James’ warm, enveloping vocals with a deep house pulse crafted alongside Late Night Alumni. Reflective lyrics meet uplifting energy, creating a dancefloor anthem rooted in introspection. The B-side, “Closer,” co-written with Sebastian Arocha Morton, offers a slower, ethereal counterpoint.
The release feels full circle for Samantha, whose career was shaped in part by Om’s early influence. Over three decades and 800+ releases, Om Records has remained a pillar of American dance music culture.
The forthcoming compilation also features “Stay On My Mind” from Mark Farina, Homero Espinosa and Dani Siciliano; “Do It Right” from Groove Armada; and “The Sunshine” from Colette, Richard Earnshaw and Kenny Summit — celebrating the label’s legacy while looking firmly ahead.
