UK producer Zero returns with his highly anticipated 14ZERO EP, out now via Deadbeats. Continuing to carve out a distinct lane within modern UK bass music, the project stands as a bold statement in 140 dubstep, fusing weighty, wonky basslines with razor-sharp sound design and ear-grabbing vocal chops. Featuring standout collaborations with legendary vocalists and MCs Riko Dan and Kwengface, the EP reinforces Zero’s deep connection to the culture at the core of the sound.

Leading the charge is title track “Dubplate Fly” featuring Riko Dan, a high-impact opener that blends trap energy with dubstep grit, setting the tone from the very first drop. It’s followed by “HMS,” a choppy, precision-cut dubstep roller that moves with a fluid, almost liquid-style swing, keeping the momentum raw and unpredictable. Switching gears, “HOLY GHOST” delivers a smoother, more restrained groove that still lands with weight, showcasing Zero’s range beyond all-out aggression. Closing the project is “ON JOB,” a standout finale that ties the EP together, weaving its sonic elements into one cohesive, forward-thinking statement.

Momentum around Zero has been steadily building. In 2025, he secured a #1 spot on Beatport’s Top 140 Chart and climbed to #41 on the Beatport Top 100 overall, cementing his status as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging talents. His productions have earned support from influential tastemakers including Sammy Virji, Mala, Caspa, Eptic, Zeds Dead, Levity, It’s Murph, and Peekaboo, resonating with both UK and U.S. bass audiences. With 14ZERO, Zero continues pushing the sound forward, bridging underground UK bass traditions with global festival energy.

The release also arrives ahead of Zero’s upcoming global tour, with dates scheduled across the United Kingdom and the United States. Following standout appearances at Shambhala and Zeds Dead Deadrocks in 2025, along with a featured placement in DJ Mag’s HQ mix series, Zero is rapidly solidifying his rise—moving from breakout status toward becoming a firmly established name in the worldwide electronic music scene.
