Seth Tabatznik, the London-born Folk artist now rooted in the mountains of South Africa’s Western Cape, is gearing up to release his newest single, “Let Go Of Fear”, arriving December 12th, 2025 via Moth Music (Mother Of The Heart). The track follows his recent pieces “Shining For Love” and “Choose To Be Alive,” which earned praise from tastemakers including CLASH Magazine and EARMILK. Though he only began releasing music in 2024, he’s already surpassed 100,000 streams and built early momentum onstage with two sold-out shows—one at Boschendal Estate in Cape Town, and another at Green Note in London’s Camden. With a second album slated for 2026, Seth Tabatznik is quickly becoming a name to watch in the modern Indie Folk space.
Seth’s music is grounded in the landscapes that shaped him—raised in London, creating in the quiet wild of the Western Cape, and guided by a sense of intention that runs through his work. His sound blends acoustic folk with elements of medicine music, carrying warm harmonies and lyrics steeped in reflection. Mentorship from Nick Mulvey, who helped cultivate the direction of his upcoming album, and inspiration from guitarist Rainer Scheurenbrand have both played defining roles in his evolution. Fans of Bon Iver, Novo Amor, and Sleeping At Last will find familiar emotional depth in his upcoming material, but Seth’s approach remains distinctly his own.
“Let Go Of Fear” shifts away from the guitar-forward palette of his earlier singles. Instead, it opens into a lush, winter-tinged atmosphere—string arrangements drifting underneath gentle piano, with Seth’s voice offering a quiet invitation toward softness and release.
Sharing the heart behind the song, Seth explains: “Let Go of Fear is a cover of a Nick Barber song: Heart’s Mystery. It’s a song I fell in love with and adopted over the last few years, passed onto me by my guitar teacher Rainer Scheurenbrand. I’ve sung it around the world—in ceremonies, in singing circles, at festivals as a communal singalong—and I’m grateful to be sharing this personalised recorded studio version.”
With this new single, Seth Tabatznik continues building a body of work that feels both grounded and spiritually expansive—music meant not just to hear, but to sit with.
