Australian producer and DJ HARLEY GIRL has released his highly anticipated EP The Music, a high-energy collection that solidifies his reputation as one of the most exciting emerging talents in Australia’s electronic scene. Following a series of dancefloor-ready singles—‘Gimme !’, ‘The Music’, ‘Turn Up The Sound’, and *‘1Mhz’**—the EP now arrives in full, featuring the new track ‘Nobody (Like You)’.
Speaking about the track, HARLEY GIRL shares: “I started with the main synth line, which kind of reminds me of a rubber band being stretched out. I wanted the track to have that same kind of feeling and energy — like it could tear apart at any moment.”
The Music marks HARLEY GIRL’s second EP of 2025, following his earlier release legitimate dj behaviour EP. While the project came together almost by chance, it carries a distinct emotional resonance. The EP’s thumping rhythms, playful synths, and bursts of club-fuelled energy capture both spontaneity and intention, offering listeners an immersive musical experience.
Reflecting on the EP, HARLEY GIRL explains: “To me, this EP felt like it came out of nowhere. I’d just finished my first EP for 2025 and knew I wanted to drop a few more tracks this year. The tracks and the concept felt like they arrived in front of me, always just in time too. When I wrote the title track, it really became apparent that music is such a reprieve for me from the craziness of the world, and I wanted this EP to be that for other people as well. It could be a moment on a dancefloor, or in your headphones, in your car, on a walk, or with friends.”
With The Music, HARLEY GIRL continues to cement his place in the electronic music scene, delivering a project designed to energize and uplift audiences wherever they listen.
