After years of teaming up on fan-favorite releases, selling out global tours, and helping shape the sound of modern electronic music, multi-platinum producers Steve Aoki and Alan Walker officially unveil their newest collaborative project: Lonely Club.
Their debut album, Quantum Beats, arrives December 5 with eight brand-new tracks, accompanied by two official music videos and the album’s lead single, “Broken Angel.”
Fans get their first entry point into this new creative world today with the release of “Welcome to Lonely Club (Part I),” the opening chapter of the album’s cinematic intro.
Lonely Club is more than a project name—it represents a world built around emotion, empathy, and connection. It explores the inner realities of the artist’s life: loneliness, longing, fear of loss, and the healing power of sound. At its core, the concept celebrates bonds that transcend culture and language, using melody as the bridge when words fall short. The Lonely Club universe exists as an alternate dimension where sound, visuals, and atmosphere merge into a single emotionally charged experience shaped by human connection.
For Aoki and Walker, this marks a new creative chapter. Though the two producers have collaborated before, Lonely Club pushes their partnership deeper—artistically and emotionally.
“We’ve both lived lives where music has been the constant,” says Aoki. “A refuge, a bridge, and sometimes the thing that keeps us going. Lonely Club is our attempt to build a world where anyone can feel that same connection.”
Walker adds, “We’ve made music together in the past, but this is something different. Lonely Club lets us explore a deeper part of ourselves—and Quantum Beats is the first chapter of that story.”
Blending Aoki’s high-energy electronic edge with Walker’s atmospheric, melodic signature, Quantum Beats builds a world of contrasts: technology versus humanity, isolation versus belonging, tension versus release.
