Carl Cox’s Unreleased 7-Hour Ibiza Set Drops on Apple Music

Today, Apple Music releases a previously unpublished DJ Mix from Ibiza legend Carl Cox, recorded live at the island’s revolutionary new venue, [UNVRS], this July. Spanning seven hours, the mix journeys across all eras and styles of techno, taking listeners from midnight to sunrise, guided with the masterful skill only Cox can deliver.

The set was recorded on 27th July 2025 as part of Cox’s Sunday Residency at [UNVRS], celebrating his birthday and showcasing Ibiza’s newest nightlife hotspot. Designed with cutting-edge production and immersive spectacle, [UNVRS] provided the perfect stage for this marathon session, highlighting the unity, energy, and dancefloor devotion that define Ibiza.

Using Spatial Audio technology, the mix transports listeners directly into the heart of the venue, recreating the sensation of being surrounded by sound, light, and euphoria. This release offers a front-row experience of one of Ibiza’s most talked-about clubbing destinations, capturing the magic of a debut season that saw headline performances and residencies from the world’s leading house and techno artists.

This release is part of the ongoing collaboration between Apple Music and The Night League, creators of [UNVRS], Ushuaïa, and Hï Ibiza, aiming to bring the island’s iconic performances to fans worldwide in immersive audio.

Joining Cox today are previously unpublished sets from percussive techno innovators The Martinez Brothers and progressive-electronic trio WhoMadeWho, both recorded at Hï Ibiza. These join a growing library of DJ mixes from Ibiza’s top clubs on Apple Music, including recent sets from Calvin Harris and Armin van Buuren.

This release solidifies Carl Cox’s return to the island and offers fans a definitive sonic snapshot of Ibiza’s new era.
