Today, global electronic icon DJ Snake unveils “Nomad,” a 17-track studio album that transcends borders, languages, and genres. Both a long-awaited project and a bold cultural statement, “Nomad” celebrates his evolution from a young Parisian beatmaker into one of contemporary music’s defining forces. Announced during his historic, sold-out solo show at Stade de France—the first ever by an electronic artist—the album reflects DJ Snake’s deep respect for global music culture, weaving sounds from reggaeton, Middle Eastern street music, and baile funk into a seamless cross-continental journey.

“I grew up surrounded by people from India, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Middle East. That mix shaped everything I heard,” shares DJ Snake. “Nomad is a tribute to that upbringing—always moving, always learning, always blending what the world has to offer. Nomad goes beyond an album tracklist. It’s a cultural statement.”

Among the many highlights, “Nomad” introduces the long-anticipated collaboration “In The Dark” with Stray Kids, marking the first-ever partnership between the French producer and the global K-pop powerhouse. The track fuses Stray Kids’ electrifying energy with DJ Snake’s genre-blending production, bridging Eastern and Western sounds into a thrilling global moment.

“We met last year at the 2024 Gala des Pièces Jaunes in Paris. We immediately knew there was more to come,” DJ Snake says. “I’ve always been amazed by the K-pop scene, so to now collaborate with these guys who have had such an impact on this genre is an honor.”

The album also features a series of first-time collaborations: Grammy-nominated Afro-house artist Bantu on “Company,” Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley on “Bam Bam,” and the debut of DJ Snake’s new alter ego The Outlaw on “Final Fantasy.” Fans can also dive into long-awaited cuts like “Tsunami” featuring Future and Travis Scott, alongside standout solo tracks “Nomad,” “Monte Carlo,” “Cairo Express,” and “KIKI2000,” each representing a different chapter in his expansive musical odyssey.

In the months leading up to “Nomad,” DJ Snake offered a series of singles that hinted at the album’s ambitious scale. It began with “Paradise” featuring Bipolar Sunshine, a reimagining of Phil Collins’ “Another Day in Paradise,” premiered at his Stade de France performance. The momentum continued with “Reloaded” alongside Space Laces, flipping Marilyn Manson’s “This Is the New Sht”* into a blistering dancefloor weapon.

Then came “Patience,” a moving reinterpretation of Amadou & Mariam’s “Sabali,” whose video shed light on the global realities of migration. “Noventa,” a 90s-inspired reggaeton anthem with longtime collaborator J Balvin, reinforced his cross-genre chemistry, while “Something Wrong” with Don Toliver highlighted Snake’s hip-hop roots. The explosive “Bring The House Down” with Dillon Francis and TRXGGX rounded out the run, igniting a full-fledged trap revival.

Over the past decade, DJ Snake has shaped the global soundscape with an unparalleled catalog of hits, from “Turn Down for What” with Lil Jon, to “Lean On” with Major Lazer and (Diamond-certified by the RIAA), “Taki Taki” with Selena Gomez, Ozuna, and Cardi B, and “Let Me Love You” with Justin Bieber. With over 30 billion global streams and 50x RIAA-certified platinum singles, he’s headlined some of the world’s most iconic stages—including becoming the first artist ever to perform atop the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

“Nomad” stands as a defining moment in DJ Snake’s storied career—a sonic expedition that unites cultures, eras, and genres under one global rhythm. Each track reaffirms his rare ability to connect scenes and generations, proving that true artistry knows no borders.
