World-renowned electronic music icon deadmau5 has officially announced that he will release a new artist album in 2026, kicking off the next chapter of his storied career with the release of his latest single, “Ameonna,” out today, October 24, via his label mau5trap.
Marking the beginning of a new era, deadmau5 reintroduces his pioneering sound with “Ameonna,” a captivating instrumental track that builds an immersive sonic world of pressurized synths and swelling atmospherics, culminating in a powerful and emotional climax. The single offers fans a glimpse into the forthcoming LP, promising a continuation of his boundary-pushing creativity that has defined modern electronic music.

Alongside the release, deadmau5 announced that he will retire his iconic Cube live production — a staple of his legendary performances — and debut an entirely new show on November 7 and 8 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. These highly anticipated shows, part of his annual Day of the deadmau5 celebration, will feature a conceptual five-hour set including performances from his techno alter-ego Testpilot, a special drum & bass segment, and brand-new deadmau5 music, all accompanied by cutting-edge visuals and production design.
Coinciding with the shows, fans can visit the Denver mau5hop pop-up at 95 S Cherokee Street, Denver, CO 80223, open from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days. The event will feature exclusive merchandise, including the debut of the Atari x deadmau5 Meowingtons’ Revenge playable 7800 game cartridge, as well as limited-edition hoodies, t-shirts, vinyl, and collectibles. Deadmau5 will host meet & greets from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. each day, with free entry for all ages.
It has been nearly a decade since the release of deadmau5’s last studio album, W:/2016ALBUM/. With “Ameonna” and his next full-length project on the horizon, the legendary producer reaffirms his position as one of electronic music’s most forward-thinking and influential artists.
