Two of dance music’s most forward-thinking producers, Skream and Krystal Klear, join forces on “The Boy / Moon,” a vibrant two-track release that blends neon-streaked euphoria with late-night melancholy. Out October 17 via CircoLoco Records, the collaboration captures the powerful synergy between two artists who continue to define and challenge the boundaries of modern club culture.
Building on Skream’s standout run of releases with CircoLoco Records—including “Lost Without You” with FLETCH, “World Is Empty,” and The Attention Deficit EP—this new project sees him team up with Krystal Klear, a producer equally renowned for his emotionally rich, forward-thinking approach to electronic music. Together, they craft an exhilarating blend of disco, Italo, and house influences reimagined through a futuristic lens.
Across both tracks, “The Boy” and “Moon,” the pair channel a timeless sense of euphoria intertwined with introspection. Warm, analog textures and shimmering melodies collide with deep grooves and cinematic emotion, offering a euphoric, heart-on-sleeve take on peak-time dance music that feels equally suited for sunset or sunrise.
Reflecting on the project, Krystal Klear shares,
“As cliché as it sounds, this record is about euphoria with a touch of melancholy — that feeling when all the parts connect with those you love on a dance floor, those who are there and those who aren’t.”
Following the release, Skream and Krystal Klear will take their magnetic chemistry to the stage for a series of back-to-back shows:
- Dec 5 – Sub Club, Glasgow
- Dec 13 – Robert Johnson, Frankfurt
With “The Boy / Moon,” Skream and Krystal Klear deliver a glowing reminder of what makes electronic music so timeless — connection, emotion, and the shared magic of the dance floor.
