Belgian house pioneer The Magician is back with his latest single, “Night To Night,” released today, October 10, via Universal Music Italy. The track reimagines Baltimora’s 1985 hit “Tarzan Boy”, blending its instantly recognisable hook with shimmering grooves and rolling beats to create a modern, club-ready anthem that bridges nostalgia and contemporary house.
A leading figure in global house music, The Magician—real name Stephen Fasano—first gained prominence as co-founder of the duo Aeroplane, before establishing a solo career with his multi-platinum remix of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers.” He has since delivered standout tracks including “Sunlight,” “Shy,” and “Hippies,” while his long-running Magic Tapes series and Potion Records label have cemented his reputation as both tastemaker and hitmaker.
In 2024, The Magician released his debut album VOYAGE, crafted alongside pianist Sofiane Pamart and producer Samaran, and collaborated with Purple Disco Machine on the hit single “All My Life,” amassing over 25 million streams. As a remixer, he has worked with artists including Polo & Pan, Years & Years, Clean Bandit, and Tom Grennan, while performing at festivals and clubs such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, Printworks London, Elsewhere Brooklyn, and Ushuaïa Ibiza.
With “Night To Night,” The Magician once again demonstrates his ability to transform classic sounds into timeless dancefloor moments, seamlessly merging Baltimora’s energetic spirit with his signature house touch.
