Today, October 10, 2025, Berlin-based producer, DJ, and Disco Halal label head Moscoman unveils his latest album, Caviar, alongside the single “Reflecting On You.” Drawing on 80s long-form structures, heavy synths, and high-energy production, the single mirrors Moscoman’s personal and musical journey, reflecting on his career while moving boldly forward.

Created over two years, Caviar marks a departure from Moscoman’s signature electronic sound, embracing live instrumentation, indie influences, and a full-band approach designed for immersive live performance. With real basslines, live drums, and minimal synths, the album transforms his music into a tactile, performative experience. Moscoman explains: “It’s not pure dance music. It’s meant to be performed, felt, and lived.”

Written and recorded primarily in Los Angeles, Caviar fuses experimental production with collaboration. The ten-track album features COMA, SCUDFM, Tom Sanders, Justin Strauss, The Golden Dregs, and Talee, each bringing their own interpretation to Moscoman’s foundations. He emphasizes a collaborative freedom: “I let them respond to the music in their own way, and that’s what makes it a true collaboration.”

The album’s sound draws on influences from The Cure, The Smiths, Smashing Pumpkins, and Cocteau Twins, balancing nostalgia with modern production and blending Moscoman’s “happy-sad” Nordic-inflected vibe with the warmth of the Californian landscape.

2025 also marks the tenth anniversary of Disco Halal, the imprint founded by Moscoman in 2015. The label has been a hub for innovative music and boundary-pushing artistry, cultivating a dedicated community of artists including Simple Symmetry, Red Axes, Trikk, and Auntie Flo. A label compilation and live performance of Caviar will celebrate this milestone.

Known for his unpredictable energy and genre-spanning approach—ranging from indie dance to machine disco, acid, techno, and dark disco—Moscoman has played iconic venues such as Space Miami, Panorama Bar, Glastonbury, and Pacha Ibiza. With Caviar, he continues to evolve as an artist, offering a deeply personal, adventurous, and collaborative statement while expanding the vision of Disco Halal.

Moscoman’s new album Caviar and the single “Reflecting On You” are available now via Disco Halal.
