Melodic bass innovator yetep continues his journey toward his debut album with “Slow Motion”, a poignant new single set for release on October 10th via Lost In Dreams Records. Featuring the stirring vocals of Gabriel Eli, the track delivers a cinematic blend of intimacy and expansive emotion, showcasing yetep’s signature ability to fuse heartfelt lyricism with intricate production.
Built around ticking clocks and heartbeat-like pulses, “Slow Motion” opens in hushed tones before blossoming into a lush, layered soundscape. Eli’s vocals traverse from gravelly low-end croons to soaring belts, embodying vulnerability and strength in equal measure. Orchestral textures and fluttering arpeggios weave through snapping trap percussion, building toward euphoric drops that marry the grandeur of future bass with melodic nuance.
On the track’s evolution, yetep shared, “I wanted to write something that would really connect with the bass music audience. I originally wrote this as a non-single track for the album, but after sitting on it for so long, I had almost forgotten about it. That changed when I worked with Gabriel—he brought the song to life. His vocals gave it a completely different feel, and I tried to balance the emotional side with the technical side of my production. In the end, everything came together and blended really well.”
Gabriel Eli reflected on the track’s emotional core: “With ‘Slow Motion,’ I wanted to capture the feeling of being in love and feeling like, when you’re together, the world slows down and it’s just you and this person—even if you’re in a crowded room. The feeling that, even when the world and future is uncertain, you feel at peace when you’re together.”
“Slow Motion” is the fourth single from yetep’s forthcoming debut album, due early 2026. Previous releases — “Champagne,” “Hate It When It’s You,” and “Take Me Down” — have earned radio play from EDM Sessions, Radio FG, and C89.5, along with support from artists like Adventure Club, if found, and Nathassia. With an upcoming run of shows including performances at S20 Los Angeles, Tahoe Live, and a support slot for San Holo at Emo’s Austin, yetep continues to cement his reputation as both a masterful producer and a commanding live performer.
Los Angeles–based vocalist Gabriel Eli grounds the collaboration with a deeply emotive performance that bridges rock, R&B, and electronic music. Known for collaborations like ARMNHMR and LOCKBOX’s “Free” and SadBois’ “Happier Now”, Eli has established himself as a sought-after presence in crossover music spaces, lending his voice to tracks that fuse intimacy with powerful emotion. His independent releases have amassed millions of streams, further amplifying his impact across genres.
With “Slow Motion”, yetep delivers a cinematic and emotionally resonant single that previews the scope of his upcoming debut album — a project designed for both the dancefloor and deeper reflection. For Lost In Dreams, the release reaffirms the label’s role as a leader in the melodic bass scene and positions yetep as one of the genre’s most distinctive voices.
yetep & Gabriel Eli’s “Slow Motion” will be available on all streaming platforms via Lost In Dreams Records starting October 10th.
