Polarbear marks the brand-new project from American-French producer and songwriter Mario Pedron, diving deep into the worlds of dance, house, EDM, and UK garage. The project’s sound draws inspiration from artists like Fred Again.., Swimming Paul, and Nimino, blending emotional depth with rhythms built for movement.
The journey begins with the debut single “Talk It Out,” a euphoric and emotionally charged dance track that Mario describes as one of the most enjoyable songs he’s ever written.
“‘Talk It Out’ is one of the most fun things I’ve ever had the privilege of making,” says Mario Pedron. “It’s a track built for the dance floor—euphoric, emotional, and freeing. The lyrics speak about the need for communication instead of hiding what’s really going on, a theme that resonates deeply with a lot of people. It’s about release, honesty, and connection through music. This single also marks the launch of my new project.”
Beyond the music, Polarbear represents a broader creative vision that merges high-energy electronic production with visual storytelling. The project incorporates real-world footage and stripped-back videography, beginning with visuals filmed in Maastricht, Netherlands.
The name Polarbear reflects Mario’s lifelong fascination with the animal. “They’re my favorite—beautiful, endangered, and underrepresented,” he explains. “For me, they symbolize fragility and strength. That’s exactly what I want Polarbear to embody: a space where dance, storytelling, and visuals collide in unexpected ways.”
With “Talk It Out,” Mario Pedron opens the door to a new sonic and visual world—one that connects emotion, energy, and movement in perfect harmony.
“Talk It Out” is out now on all platforms.
