Brazilian duo BadComppany make their debut on Dirtybird Records with the spirited two-track LINK EP, released as part of the label’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
A dynamic introduction to their sound, LINK opens with “Girls In Green,” a bouncy, tech-forward track rich with arpeggiations. The EP’s second offering, “That Good,” surprises with cheeky vocal chops and playful patterns, delivering eight minutes of off-kilter excitement balanced with the warmth that defines the Dirtybird catalog. The result is a bold statement of identity and versatility.
Dirtybird has long been a home for Brazilian talent, championing artists like Bruno Furlan, Cour T., and DJ Glen, and recently spotlighting the nation’s sound with their Taste Of Brazil compilation. The label will further expand its Brazilian connection with an upcoming regional tour later this year.
BadComppany—the Brazilian duo of hip-hop veteran DJ Zeu and young producer Raphael Cordoso—launched in 2024 with debut single “Too Mush Baby” via Cour T.’s Colapso. Their innovative blend of hip-hop and modern electronic music makes LINK a milestone release for both the artists and Dirtybird.
LINK EP is available now on all platforms.
