Sub Focus has officially announced his highly anticipated new album Contact, set for release on November 21 via Casablanca Records. The 14-track record features a stellar lineup of collaborators, including Grimes, John Summit, Katy B, bbyclose, Fireboy DML, IRAH, Subsonic, Poppy Baskomb, Connie Constance, Emily Makis, Inez, and more.
Anticipation for Contact has been steadily building throughout the year, as Sub Focus previewed new material across DJ sets, festival appearances, and his critically acclaimed headline Circular Sound live shows around the world.
Contact will mark Sub Focus’ fourth solo studio album, following his certified Silver records Sub Focus and Torus, as well as 2023’s UK Top 40 album Evolve. In 2020, he also teamed up with fellow Drum & Bass heavyweight Wilkinson on the collaborative album Portals.
The creative direction for Contact — including artwork, vinyl packaging, and visual identity — was spearheaded by Sub Focus alongside acclaimed photographer Neil Krug and design agency Big Active. Drawing inspiration from retro-futurism, space race-era technology, and the Golden Record sent aboard NASA’s Voyager mission, the project channels a sense of cosmic wonder and exploration.
2025 has been a landmark year for Sub Focus. After starting the year with a sold-out show at London’s Alexandra Palace, he went on to deliver his biggest-ever set at Glastonbury Festival, closing out the iconic IICON stage. Later this month, he’ll bring Circular Sound to the U.S. with a performance in Los Angeles, followed by a historic, sold-out headlining show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado — making him the first-ever Drum & Bass artist to headline the legendary Denver venue. Looking ahead, Sub Focus is already confirmed to appear at Coachella 2026 as part of the Drum & Bass collective WORSHIP.
