KAYTRANADA returns with a fresh take on “SPACE INVADER”, one of the standout tracks from his latest album AIN’T NO DAMN WAY! — this time remixed by the enigmatic British producer SBTRKT. The remix flips the original’s funk shuffle into a high-energy, dance floor-ready cut that pushes the track into new sonic territory.
The release follows KAYTRANADA’s recent announcement of a co-headline North American tour with Justice, presented by Live Nation, kicking off in mid-October. The project marks an intentional return to his dance music roots, further cementing him as one of the genre’s leading innovators. The album’s club-ready beats draw on samples from TLC, J Dilla, Latrelle, Tangerine Dream, and more — seamlessly reimagined within KAYTRANADA’s world and translated for the universality of the dancefloor. AIN’T NO DAMN WAY! follows his Grammy-nominated 2024 album TIMELESS, which he later released in instrumental form earlier this year.
