Los Angeles-based producer AWAY and duo Shadow Cliq have unleashed their powerful new single “UNDER ME”, out now via HypnoVizion.
“UNDER ME” fuses AWAY’s industrial, emotionally charged soundscapes with Shadow Cliq’s high-energy electronic textures, layered with live guitar riffs and ethereal vocals. The track moves between intense, driving peaks and moody, atmospheric lows, creating a tension-filled journey that draws listeners deep into their shared sonic universe. Ominous and jagged, “UNDER ME” expands HypnoVizion’s catalogue of vocal-driven bass that thrives in darker, alternative spaces.
AWAY, based in Los Angeles, is redefining alternative and industrial bass music. As one of bass music’s most inventive producers, he has crafted work for DeathbyRomy and Elohim, remixed tracks for ILLENIUM and RL Grime, and released on respected labels including OWSLA, Lowly, and Seeking Blue. Last year, he debuted on HypnoVizion with OMNIVIOLENCE as one-half of the boundary-pushing duo ANTAGONÏZER.
Shadow Cliq, the Los Angeles-based DJ duo of vocalist/guitarist Annie Shred and producer Danny Dodge, blend rock performance with electronic production to carve their own path in the alt-bass scene. Their work includes appearances on Rezz’s Spiral and collaborations with Seven Lions, Kill The Noise, and HVDES. “UNDER ME” marks their first release on HypnoVizion.
