Mysteryland closed an unforgettable chapter last night, delivering its most ambitious finale to date before taking a creative pause. The 2025 edition welcomed 100,000 fans from 81 countries and ended with a breathtaking 15-minute showcase featuring 800 synchronized drones, fireworks, lasers, and immersive visuals that lit up the sky above the festival’s legendary pyramid.

This year’s redesigned mainstage was the largest in Mysteryland history, built in an arena-style format where fans could dance across four levels surrounding the dancefloor. Tens of thousands gathered around the pyramid as a sea of lights and energy pulsed in unison. The end show introduced a narrative theme for the first time, weaving elements of love and connection into an unprecedented, fully integrated spectacle.

Creative Director Sander Vermeulen shared, “We wanted to close this chapter of Mysteryland with a finale bigger than ever before: a show centered around love and connection. Drones, lasers, video, fireworks, and sound all speak to one another, forming a single visual and musical story. It’s no longer just about technology; it’s about what happens when everything truly comes together.”

The grand finale was developed in partnership with AB InBev / BUD and set a new benchmark for festival production. Fans can look forward to seeing the full performance soon on Mysteryland’s YouTube channel, with preview clips already available online.

As always, Mysteryland 2025 showcased an eclectic lineup blending today’s biggest stars with underground legends. Highlights included Hardwell, Marlon Hoffstadt, trance pioneers Paul van Dyk and Eric Prydz, crowd-moving house from FISHER, and a cutting-edge techno roster featuring Indira Paganotto, Adriatique, SNTS, Patrick Mason, and breakout act Benwal. The Dutch urban scene was also strongly represented with fan favorites Ronnie Flex and Broederliefde.

New stage hosts made their debut, including Woodstock ’69, Radio De Koperen Hond, Indira Paganotto’s ARTCORE, and Amsterdam nightlife staple Shelter, alongside long-time collaborators like Vunzige Deuntjes, JOY, Trance Energy, Paardenrave, and Nachtcollege.

With the 2025 edition marking the festival’s final year in its iconic form, Mysteryland will take a creative break in 2026 before returning in 2027 with a completely reimagined concept. Fans can pre-register now via Mysteryland’s official website for updates on its highly anticipated new era.
