This new mashup connects continents and communities, weaving the heartwarming choral harmonies of “Sauti”—originally created with multi-platinum French duo Faul & Wad and the Grammy-nominated African Children’s Choir—with verses from ElGrandeToto’s breakout track “Diplomatico” off his acclaimed SALGOAT album. The result is a dynamic meeting of worlds, pairing gospel-inspired refrains with the rapper’s husky flow over a radiant, piano-driven afro-house groove.
What began as a casual bootleg edit in Mercier’s sets has grown into a viral sensation, uniting MENA audiences and igniting euphoric dance floors worldwide. With “Diplomatico” surpassing 26 million streams and “Sauti” nearing 49 million, this official collaboration was destined for global impact.
